Seven Facts about Louise
The other day Rae from Ramblings of a TV Whore tagged me in a meme that was floating around. The point is to post seven facts about yourself and have other people do that same. I don’t remember the last time I did this at my other blog, but I’ll try to keep these TV related, or about things we Nice Girls should care about.
- When I was in college, I organized a large semi-formal dance. Just imagine what a Prom would be like with college kids, and there you go. Months of work, and plenty of drama later, it went off without a hitch. Should my life ever be made into a show, the story will be condensed into forty-two minutes with the last scene being a fade to black of the party in full swing.
- At the end of college, I was voted to plan our five year reunion. I just hope it doesn’t turn out anything like Sarah’s on Chuck. Granted, unlike that show, I’m going to be the one in charge of planning a party like that, but there’s still plenty of room for error.
- I survived Election Day 2004 with my newly purchased copy of The OC, Season One. Nothing like vapid teens to make me forget about that day. I didn’t stop watching it for a full week when I wasn’t in class, I’m pretty sure.
- I’m going to borrow one from Rae, so pardon. I have a potty mouth. I’m not sure how I manage to make it in our radio shows without letting out something profane, but I have. Should any of you meet me in person, it will happen. No questions. In fact, my foul mouth has gotten me in trouble (mostly because of a Nice Boy around here) because there were, in fact, small children around. It is never good to shout out expletives in their presence.
- The first show I ever watched religiously (I’m not talking Saturday Morning Cartoons) was Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. I will blame Dean Cain for being an incredibly attractive to a tweener for most of it, but there was also the fact that my mom loved comics and we bonded over the show. I can’t quite bring myself to rewatch the show now, even with all four seasons on DVD.
- Despite liking the show, I never found a way to finish watching all of Dawson’s Creek in the first run. Somewhere in season three or four, I just stopped. When I think about catching it early in the morning in syndication, I can’t do it.
- Much as I know everyone loves Joss Whedon, I didn’t watch Buffy: the Vampire Slayer the first time around. I ended up watching the last three seasons one summer in college. I’m working on that now, trust me.
