About NGTV
NiceGirlsTV.com was born out of a desire to write about and discuss our favorite TV shows. Because we fall into the female 25-49 demo, we decided to indulge our girliness and be as pink and frilly as we wanted. But don’t worry, we won’t forget to bring the snark.
Meet The Nice Girls
BethAnne is a wife and mother of three from the Chicago area who likes being able to discuss her favorite TV shows with adults sometimes. She is addicted to the Sookie Stackhouse novels and can’t wait for season 3 of the HBO series based on the books, True Blood. Melissa is a Kansas native with a love of TV and the Internet, happily combined at NGTV. When she’s not in front of the TV or computer (or both!), she enjoys reading, cooking, scrapbooking, and traveling. Melissa is addicted to British period dramas, especially romantic fare from Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell. Her current favorite shows include Bones, Modern Family, PSYCH, Chuck, Glee, True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, Castle, Cougar Town, The Good Wife and Leverage. Louise lives in the Los Angeles area, and has been a long time California girl. Despite her better judgment, she enjoys shows about the shallow sides of her home city, but will also find time to watch Glee, Bones, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Weeds, Leverage and Mad Men. She also enjoys other science fiction shows on right now, as well as the occasional show about high school athletics. Using her favorite online handle, Rueben is an East Coast-bred gal who is now a permanent Californian and a lifelong tv-oholic. She watches at least 25 TV shows a week, goes to the movies twice a month (if not more), listens to music every waking moment, reads every day and “plays” on the internet every chance she can. Some of her favorite shows are Glee, Supernatural, Chuck, NCIS, The Vampire Diaries, Drop Dead Diva, Eureka, Leverage and Burn Notice. Tiffany is a contributing writer for NiceGirlsTV who hails from sunny Los Angeles, California. She is a compulsive television watcher who loves discovering great television shows. Some of her favorite TV shows from this past season have been The Good Wife, Castle, Modern Family, Cougar Town, Life Unexpected, The Vampire Diaries, Merlin, Caprica, Lie to Me, White Collar, Psych, Justified and many, many more. She is anxiously awaiting the return of several beloved summer shows and discovering all the new shows that the upcoming summer and fall seasons will bring.
Sarah is our staff photographer for special events like Comic Con. A photography student in Illinois, she’s perfecting her portraiture skills on the likes of the Chuck cast, who never sit still.
Rae is a correspondent for special events when we need additional coverage. Something of a news junkie, she does turn it off occasionally to watch various British miniseries on DVD and has become hooked on Chuck and Psych thanks to other Nice Girls’ recommendations. Other favorites include Leverage, Burn Notice, The Good Wife, and Drop Dead Diva. Rae lives in the Kansas City metro area and spends most of her free time with her husband and 9 (and counting!) grandchildren.
Genevieve is our junior correspondent, representing the next generation of Nice Girls. She is a huge Chuck fan and is working on a script of her own for the show. Although her TV time is limited (thanks, mom!), she also enjoys Legend of the Seeker, Psych, and Modern Family. And sometimes Hannah Montana.
