Throwback Tuesday: The Event Series You Won’t See This Fall (But Maybe You Should)
As part of my (hopefully) ongoing monthly column saluting Throwback Tuesday, I wrote this article back in February of 2016 and thought it would be fun to revisit it.
It has become a tradition here at NiceGirlsTV that we take a look at new (pretend) pilots that would be fun to see on the small screen either on the cable or major networks during the new fall TV season. This time around, however, instead of new pilots based on previous hit series, a long-running event series, based on a popular book series, is being “introduced”.
Welcome to the…
Lords of the Underworld – This new anthology thriller, based on the book series by Gena Showalter, will air on Syfy as a long-running event series, focusing on 12 immortal warriors who stole and opened Pandora’s Box, unleashing the evil within.
The event series will be broken down into 4-week “minis” for each book, telling the stories of the immortal men from Budapest, who not only have supernatural abilities but are also extremely tall; each with an intricate butterfly tattoo on their bodies and about the women who fall in love with them.
