THE FLASH: “Enter Zoom” {Recap}

As if last week’s episode with Dr. Light wasn’t enough, this week we’re still on the same path and with disastrous results this time.

Linda Park is roped into Team Flash’s plan to have Zoom come into this Earth, but with less than desirable affects. Zoom comes through the void after the staged battle and in the end he runs Barry all through town, throwing a limp Flash to both Iris’ paper, the CCPD and STAR Lab. It’s not a pretty episode to watch the team try to come up with a plan with Linda’s help, and no one really thought that Zoom would be so determined in hurting Barry.

Case in point, by the end of the episode, Barry says he can’t feel his legs. In a style that reminded me of Charles Xavier from “X-Men: First CLass”, because that was DC comics needs – Marvel connections.

But Barry’s unfeeling legs were the biggest revelation, after Linda learning that the Flash is Barry. There was also the Vibe Cisco got from Wells 2.0 that showed how Wells’ daughter is being held by Zoom, for reasons unknown.

In the end, the audience has finally a clear image of Zoom, even if there are missing pieces as to the exact reason to kill Barry. Hopefully time will tell what’s going on and why.
