DOMINION 1.04 – ‘The Flood’ True Believers, Family Reunions & Murder

Michael is rushed into Vega by Alex, who is quickly taken into custody for deserting his post. Lannon narrowly evades revealing his tattoos by getting himself thrown in the hole until Claire discovers and has him released. Alex wants nothing further to to with this ‘Chosen One Business’ however fate is deaf in the matter.

It seems Thomas Frost is a doubter no longer when he overhears Bixby telling Claire of  ‘The Chosen One.’  The City Engineer takes matters in his own hands and demands to see the child himself while holding the two most powerful men in Vega hostage.

Claire stands in stead for her father during his captivity and enlists Alex’s aid in freeing the hostages.  General Riesen and David Whele  would serve Vega better by kindly getting themselves killed. We aren’t so fortunate. However, it was nice seeing the Secretary of Commerce writhing in pain after being shot.

Alex presents his true self to the Senator who is satisfied with the revelation and pledges his loyalty to Lannon just before David shoots him in the head. Damn! Whele is as cold as ice and things turn positively arctic when he ties up loose lips and holds Bixby’s hand as she dies.

Michael is “Healed” by an unknown person using an magic angel feather. Where can I get one of those? Those suckers are handy dandy! When Big Sister Uriel shows up, my bet is on her. Dominion sure knows how to throw one hell of a family reunion complete with bickering, petty insults and great art. Uriel refuses to choose sides but she does act as a pretty effective referee.  Neither side agrees on how to end the conflict, but in the end, Uriel promises her sword to them both, only one agreement is true. I’m wondering how Gabriel will react when he discovers Uriel’s betrayal.
