THE MENTALIST: Patrick Jane in Jail in the Season 4 Premiere

The new Fall TV season is just weeks away and photos and plot details are starting to trickle in as the networks ramp up promotion. Today we have your first look at The Mentalist season premiere with Agent Lisbon visiting Patrick Jane in prison. At least Jane gets to wear a blue jumpsuit instead of orange; it goes with his eyes.
The season premiere is titled “Scarlett Ribbons” and opens with Patrick in prison for killing his nemesis in the previous season’s finale. Patrick must prove that the man he shot really was Red John. Meanwhile, Lisbon offers counsel to Van Pelt who is grieving the death of her fiance who was also killed in the finale.
The Mentalist returns to CBS on Thursday, September 22 at 10/9c.
