Chuck – NBC 8/7c
“Chuck vs. the Fear of Death” – Afraid that his latest setback is driving a wedge between him and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), Chuck (Zachary Levi) resolves to prove himself by going on a dangerous mission with the overeager Agent Rye (guest star Rob Riggle). Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) and Casey (Adam Baldwin) scramble as the “Buy Morons” attempt to uncover the true identity of Greta (guest star Summer Glau).

The Event – NBC 9/8c
“For the Good of Our Country” – President Martinez (Blair Underwood), furious about recent security failures, demands answers from Director of National Intelligence, Blake Sterling (Zeljko Ivanek). When he doesn’t receive the progress that he desires, Martinez decides to personally interrogate Michael Buchanan (Scott Patterson) about his involvement in the assassination attempt. While Michael holds to his claim that he doesn’t know who is involved, he inadvertently reveals incriminating evidence about someone deep inside the President’s staff. Meanwhile, Dempsey (Guest Star Hal Holbrook) dispatches Vicky (Taylor Cole) on a new clandestine mission. And, elsewhere, Sean (Jason Ritter) and Leila (Sarah Roemer) scramble to stay ahead of the covert ops that are trying to silence them and what they know.

Lie To Me – FOX 9/8c
“Beyond Belief” – Lightman goes head-to-head with the leader of a self-help empire (guest star Sutcliffe) to free a wealthy woman (guest star Campbell) who may be under the control of the cult-like leader. When Lightman begins to investigate, things get personal as he suspects the group of threatening him and his daughter, Emily.

Hawaii Five-0 – CBS 10/9c
“Po’ipu (The Siege)” – When a member of the security detail for an upcoming Aid Summit is murdered before he can reveal the details of an assassination plot, Five-0 is brought in to investigate the murder and protect the target, a ruthless dictator.

Castle – ABC 10/9c
“Close Encounters of the Murderous Kind” – After a prominent astrophysicist’s body is found in her car the victim of explosive decompression – Castle jokingly theorizes that perhaps she was killed in the vacuum of outer space. Yet as they delve deeper into the victim’s life, they’re confronted with a succession of evidence that keeps pointing them back to the impossible: Alien Abduction. Henrickson stars as Benny Stryker, a well known alien abduction expert, and Lovett plays a mysterious government agent intent on shutting down the investigation.
