Outlander Casting and Lyric Video

Attention Outlander Fans!

You’ve undoubtedly heard the news by now, as it was officially announced a few days ago: the role of Brianna has finally been cast.

British actress Sophie Skelton has landed the plum role of daughter to Claire (series lead Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (series lead Sam Heughan).

Skelton is a trained singer and dancer who has appeared in the UK TV shows Doctors, DCI Banks, Waterloo Road and Foyle’s War. She will next be seen in the title role in Ren, a fantasy action-adventure series where she plays a young woman marked by an ancient spirit who must risk everything to discover the truth about her life.

Congrats to Sophie on joining the cast!

Also, all fans/viewers of Outlander are very familiar with the theme to the show: “Skye Boat Song.”

Outlander will be back on Starz in April.
