Here are the casting couch features for the past two weeks:

Heroes Reborn

Actors Robbie Kay (Peter Pan on Once Upon a Time) and Ryan Guzman (The Boy Next Door and Pretty Little Liars) will star alongside Jack Coleman and Zachary Levi (Chuck) and the recently announced Masi Oka (who is reprising his role as Hiro) in the upcoming NBC 13-episode event series Heroes Reborn. Details on what character Kay will play has not been revealed yet; however, Guzman will play a former military guy. Also actress Judith Shekoni (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2) has joined the cast of the Heroes Reborn, but there are no details on her role either. Heroes Reborn has not been given an official airdate yet by NBC, but it is anticipated for later this year.

Actress Allison Mack (Smallville) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming NBC drama American Odyssey that will star Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies) as Sergeant Odelle Ballard, an American soldier who, in the midst of a SEAL Team Six-like takedown of an Al Qaeda leader, stumbles across enormously volatile intel. Soon afterwards, private military contractors arrive to take out Odelle’s entire unit, though she miraculously, secretly survives. As the rumor that Sgt. Ballard is alive starts spreading — yet is dismissed as “propaganda” by nefarious members of the military brass — corporate litigator Peter Decker (Nurse Jackie‘s Peter Facinelli) and activist Harrison Walters (Jake Robinson, The Carrie Diaries) get pulled into the deadly conspiracy. Mack will play Julia, an intelligent and empathetic stranger who befriends Odelle’s daughter Suzanne in a bookstore — though all is perhaps not as it seems. American Odyssey will debut on NBC on April 5.

Owain NEW

Actor Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) will appear in the pilot episode of the upcoming CBS drama Supergirl where he will play longtime DC Comics villain Vartox, an alien convict, who has been hiding on Earth for the past 12 years. After Supergirl’s emergence on Earth, Vartox seeks her out to ascertain her identity and do battle with her. Supergirl has not been given an official airdate yet by CBS.
