Synopsis
The jaw-dropping first-season finale of WGN America’s spellbinding original drama “Salem” reveals that no soul, witch or Puritan alike, is spared from betrayal as shocking truths come to light in “All Fall Down,” airing SUNDAY, July 13 at 10/9c on WGN America. Written by series’ co-creators Brannon Braga and Adam Simon, the season one finale of “Salem” unravels the season’s most sinister secrets.
“There’s so much excitement and horror in this season finale, I don’t know where to begin,” said Braga. “Wild, weird and wonderful – that’s how I feel about Salem – and I hope the fans enjoy watching the finale as much as we did making it. It’s both the dessert of season one, yet also sets the table for season two.”
Guest-starring in the finale are Stephen Lang (“Avatar”) as Increase Mather, Christopher Berry (“Resurrection”) as Petrus, Jennifer Griffin and Juli Erickson as the ancient witches, and Oliver Bell as a young boy.
“Salem” is executive-produced by Braga and Simon, alongside Prospect Park’s Josh Barry and Jeff Kwatinetz, as well as David Von Ancken who also directs. “Salem” hails from Fox 21, the prolific cable production division of Twentieth Century Fox Television.
