5 Things Revealed About SCANDAL’s New Season [SPOILERS]

Our friends at TVfanatic.com recently got the Scandal scoop for the upcoming season from Executive Producer Betsy Beers and Co-Executive Producer/Director Tom Verica. I can’t even contain my excitement over the best written show on TV right now. Katie Lowes (Quinn Perkins) chimes in with a bit of scoop on her character as well. What we have are 10 spoilers we can look forward to when Scandal returns on October 3rd.

  1. The premiere picks up only minutes after the season finale. Beers says, “There are a couple of revelations that are key.”
  2. We’re going to explore the dark side of Quinn, but with her close relationship with Huck, hopefully he’ll be able to keep her reined in.
  3. Via the flashbacks that this show is famous for we will finally get to know what makes Olivia Pope tick.
  4. Although we saw a contrite Fitz at the finale last season things are not quite hearts and flowers for these two. The black cloud remains over the White House. Per Verica, “Honestly, if you think you’ve seen everything about their relationship, there is more coming that’s new.”
  5. Scott Foley will be back as Jake but he will be a changed man.
