Cedar Cove Cast

Andie MacDowell (Jane By Design) will star in the first original scripted drama Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove on the Hallmark Channel that is set to have a 2-hour debut on Saturday, July 20 at 8 PM.

MacDowell plays Judge Olivia Lockhart whose Cedar Cove Municipal Court is the professional milieu and social microcosm of issues the judge will face in her own day-to-day life with family and friends. Jack Griffith (Dylan Neal from Blood Ties), the editor of the Cedar Cove Chronicle, is a new friend and potential love interest for Judge Lockhart.

In the series premiere, Judge Lockhart is overjoyed to hear that her name is being put forth for appointment to a Federal judgeship in Seattle by her longtime friend, Senator Pete Albertson. Olivia asks that her family keep the news a secret. In the meantime, Jack Griffith, desperate for a meaningful news story, corners Olivia’s mother who inadvertently tells the editor about everything in her daughter’s life – including the possible appointment.

Suddenly, Olivia (much to her chagrin) is front page news. How will her family, and the rest of the town, react to the potential changes in Olivia’s life?

Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove will air weekly on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM on Saturday nights.

The cast includes Teryl Rothery (Stargate: SG-1 and Kyle XY) as Grace Sherman, Olivia’s best friend; Bruce Boxleitner (Babylon 5 and Scarecrow and Mrs. King) as Bob Beldon, the owner of the local inn, Thyme and Tide; Barbara Niven (One Life to Live) as Bob’s wife, Peggy Beldon; Brennan Elliott (The Nanny Express) as Warren Saget; Sarah Smyth (Call Me Fitz) as Justine and Paula Shaw (the made-for-TV movie Twist of Faith) as Charlotte Jeffers.
