Week in Review: Five Moments that Deserve a Second Mention

A few TV moments stick with me every week so I’ve compiled them below.  Did I miss anything?  Is there a moment you can’t stop thinking about?  Hit the comments and let us know.

Castle:
For the love of all that is good get Ioan Gruffudd his own show.  That. Is. All.

NCIS:
A few weeks ago I commented on how Danny and Mindy holding hands for a second on The Mindy Project was probably the sexiest/sweetest thing on TV that week.  Well now it is Tony and Ziva’s turn on NCIS.  They didn’t just hold hands thought they laced their fingers together.  If you are a girl or a really intuitive guy you know how significant that is.  Now if only the show hadn’t ended on such a breath stealing cliffhanger.

Scandal:
Guillermo Diaz deserves an Emmy after this week’s Scandal.  His turn as the happy then tortured Huck was heart breaking.  After watching him long for his own family all season we find out he did in fact have his own family only to have it ripped away from him.

Big Bang Theory:
At learning the Syfy show Alphas was cancelled Sheldon did what everyone wants to do when their favorite show is cancelled.  He called the network and pretended to be the President of said network demanding his show be un-cancelled.  The fact that Big Bang Theory did a shout-out to Alphas, a show that really was cancelled way too soon, was awesome.

Person of Interest:
There is actually no specific moment from Person of Interest this week.  I just think the show is consistently good, great even and deserved a mention.

  1. Ioan Gruffudd. Yes, yes, and yes. I was sort of hoping Kate would kiss him. Don’t tell the Caskett ‘shippers.

Loved the Alphas shoutout, and Sheldon’s ingenious plan to get it uncancelled.

Jim and Pam’s embrace in the parking lot, at the end of The Office, was welcome in the midst of their current rocky relationship, but having Pam flashback to the joy of their wedding before hugging Jim back? Perfection. Hang in there, PB&J.

    • Hey, I guess I’m a Caskett shipper (Understatement?) but I might’ve forgiven her a little smooch. 😉
