SUPERNATURAL Scoop: Sam To Get New Love Interest

Female fans of Supernatural take heed!

Sam Wincheseter (Jared Padalecki) is getting a new love interest this fall.

Yes, you read that right. And the lucky actress to land this much enviable role: Liane Balaban

Okay, so you may not recognize the name, but she has appeared in two episodes of Alphas, an episode of Numb3rs, an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles and got to play all warm and fuzzy with Auggie (Christopher Gorham) on an episode of Covert Affairs.

Now, she’ll get to be up close and personal with Sam on Supernatural, playing Amelia, “a tragedy-damaged soul” who “soon reveals herself to be a brave, sweet, smart, sarcastic woman”.

Mark your calendars to watch The CW on October 3 at 9/8c for the season premiere of Season 8 of Supernatural.
