My Top Choices for March TV

By  |

Now that The Olympics have come to a conclusion, it’s time for linear TV to get on track with new episodes for the current TV season, new made-for-TV movies to debut, plenty of programming options on streaming and the premiere of the final season of a much-beloved, long-running series.

With all that being said, here are my top choices from the plethora of viewing options that are scheduled all throughout March, starting with linear TV dramas coming back from their mid-season breaks:

Tracker on CBS on March 1 at 9 PM
Watson on CBS on March 1 at 10 PM (the show is actually moving back to its original timeslot)
High Potential on ABC on March 3 at 9 PM
Doc on FOX on March 3 also at 9 PM
NCIS, NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney all on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

NEW DRAMAS

From the over a dozen new dramas that are set to debut next month, the following are the ones that I am most interested in watching:

Marshals on March on CBS at 8 PM. Ex-Navy SEAL Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) leaves Yellowstone Ranch to join the U.S. Marshals, using his cowboy and military skills to fight crime in Montana while dealing with family ties and the mental toll of law enforcement.

Scarpetta on March 11 on Amazon Prime. Nicole Kidman stars as Dr. Kay Scarpetta, an unrelenting medical examiner determined to serve as the voice of the victims, unmasking a serial killer and proving that her career-making case from 28 years prior isn’t also her undoing.

SEASON PREMIERES

The following shows will be airing their season premieres in March, and I can’t wait to see what happens next:

Outlander starts its 8th and final season on March 6 at 8 PM on Starz
Virgin River on March 12 on Netflix
Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ on March 24
For All Mankind on Apple TV on March 27

FINALES

Then there will be just a little under 10 dramas coming to an end for the season throughout March, and my top two choices for the month include the following:

Cross on Amazon Prime on March 18
Paradise on Hulu on March 30

There are a lot of programming options coming in March, and you can check out the dramas, movies and more in our full TV calendar which will go live tomorrow. Please check out that calendar and then share your top choices in our comments section below.
