TV Calendar for November

Here are the movies and series that you can look forward to seeing on TV in November:

November 6 – The Hallmark Channel movie Something To Be Thankful For will premiere at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Claudia (Daphne Zuniga from Melrose Place and Beautiful People) is an ambitious attorney striving to become partner at her law firm. But when Claudia has a run in with Gina (Faye Dunaway), a stranger who introduces herself as a Transpersonal Psychologist, Gina steps in providing Claudia an opportunity to see how the other half lives. Bumping her head, Claudia wakes up in an alternate reality as a wife and mother of two. She unexpectedly finds great joy in having a family and, after being pulled back into the real world, is far less fulfilled as a single woman living only for her career. Realizing how much she is sacrificing, she sets a new direction in life to make room for love and family.

November 10 – Psych will return to USA Network with the remainder of its current season at 10 PM

November 11 – Burn Notice will also be back on the USA Network with the rest of the episodes from its current season at 9 PM

November 12 – The Disney movie Avalon High will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the novel by Meg Cabot, the movie follows Allie Pennington (Britt Robertson from Life Unexpected), who is a new student at Avalon High. She is shocked to learn that her classmates are reincarnations of King Arthur and his Court. She begins to see parallels between her classmates and the past as she is researching a term paper on King Arthur’s legacy. The cast includes Gregg Sulkin (As the Bell Rings), Devon Graye (Dexter), Molly Quinn (Castle), Christopher Tavarez (Big Momma’s House 2), Steve Valentine (Crossing Jordan) and newcomer Joey Pollari.

November 13 – The Good Witch’s Gift will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Catherine Bell (Army Wives) stars as Cassie Nightingale, who has settled comfortably into Middleton with a successful boutique and is now engaged to Sheriff Russell (Chris Potter); but with only two short weeks till Christmas, the Sheriff is desperate to find the perfect gift. With no wedding date set, the Sheriff wants to give Cassie a family for Christmas this year and suggests they get married on Christmas Eve. But, as usual, things don’t always happen as planned and Cassie must use a bit of magic to give her new family that special Christmas.

November 13 – The Syfy movie The Lost Future will air at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie stars Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings) and is set in an exotic and dangerous world in which an isolated tribe battle for survival in a landscape overrun by terrible beasts carrying a mysterious and deadly illness.

November 15 – The Lifetime movie One Angry Juror will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Jessica Capshaw (Grey’s Anatomy) stars as Sarah Walsh, a tough, opinionated, no-nonsense New Orleans attorney who has been chosen to serve on the jury of a murder trial. Reluctantly serving her duty, she is apathetic towards the defendant until she is convinced that he may actually be innocent. Unwavering, Sarah deadlocks the jury to secure a mistrial. When they retry the case, she partners with the defense attorney Donald Burston (Jeremy Ratchford from Cold Case) and detective Derrick White (Michael Jai White from Why Did I Get Married Too?) and the investigation leads them through a dangerous maze of corruption. With the support of her husband (Jonathan Scarfe from ER), Sarah begins to reconcile her own past and realize that she is one man’s last chance for freedom.

November 17 – The second season of Human Target on FOX has been postponed until tonight at
8 PM

November 20 – The Hallmark Channel movie The Night Before the Night Before Christmas will air at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Angela Fox (Jennifer Beals) and her husband (Rick Roberts) are too busy with their jobs to pay attention to the Christmas season, let alone their two kids, Hannah and Toby. The night before Christmas Eve, they are startled when Santa Claus crash-lands onto their roof, dropping his sleigh and reindeer in the backyard. Santa hits his head in the fall and can’t remember anything about Christmas, including himself. With Santa’s journey around the world in jeopardy of being cancelled, Toby, who still believes in the magic of Christmas, begs his family to get in the holiday spirit to help jog Santa’s memory. As the fate of the holiday rests in their hands, the Foxes must work together to get Santa, and their family, back on track.

November 27 – Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle 2 will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the book by acclaimed author Debbie Macomber, Doris Roberts reprises her role this Christmas as the enchanting Mrs. Miracle. When a group of troubled New Yorkers are each down on their luck, it is Mrs. Miracle (Doris Roberts) who arrives in town to single-handedly restore the true meaning of the holiday season.

November 27 – The Syfy movie Triassic Attack (formerly known as Fossil) will air at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie is directed by Colin Ferguson (Eureka) and is about a novelty store owner who accidentally brings life to three dinosaur fossils, the dinosaurs wreak havoc on the small town and local university. With the help of townspeople, the Sheriff fights off the beasts. The movie stars Raoul Trujillo (True Blood) and Steven Brand (The Scorpion King).

November 28 – The ABC Family Channel movie The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation will debut on 8 PM.

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie features Paris Hilton (in her first voice-over role) as Bella, a French poodle who becomes the target of inept thieves during a holiday getaway. Returning as the voice of the misguided guard dog Zeus, in pursuit of Bella’s affections, is Mario Lopez. The cast also includes Gary Valentine (The King of Queens), Dean Cain (Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), Elisa Donovan (Clueless), Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers), Catherine Oxenberg (Dynasty), and Adrienne Barbeau (Maude and Carnivale).

NEWLY ADDED:

November 28 – The CBS movie November Christmas debuts at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS:  A girl gets an early holiday surprise when neighbors learn she is suffering from a serious illness.  The movie stars Sam Elliott, Karen Allen, Sarah Paulson and John Corbett.

November 29 – The Lifetime movie Unanswered Prayers debuts at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS:  In this movie, Eric Close (Without A Trace) stars as a family man who must confront his past when his high-school crush returns to town.  The movie was executive produced by country singer Garth Brooks and co-stars Samantha Morris and Madchen Amick.
