The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and more that will air during September:

September 1 – The season finale of the Disney+ animated series Monsters at Work will air online today

September 2 – The Netflix feature film Afterlife of the Party will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Party planner and social butterfly Cassie (Victoria Justice) is on top of the world, but a freak accident during her 25th birthday extravaganza brings it all crashing down – literally. When she finds herself in the waiting room of the afterlife, Cassie meets Val (Robyn Scott), her guardian angel, who explains that she has five days as an angel-in-training to make things right on Earth with the people who meant the most to her. The cast includes Midori Francis (Dash & Lily) and Adam Garcia (Coyote Ugly).

September 3 – The feature film Cinderella will debut on Amazon online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This modern take on the traditional tale follows Cinderella (singer Camila Cabello) who lives with her abusive and overprotective stepmother (Idina Menzel) and stepsisters. The royal family will be played by Pierce Brosnan and Minnie Driver along with Nicholas Galitzine along with Billy Porter as Cinderella’s genderless fairy godparent.

September 3 – The Netflix feature film Worth will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: In Washington, D.C., lawyer Kenneth Feinberg (Michael Keaton) battles cynicism, bureaucracy and politics to help the victims of 9/11. The ensemble cast includes Stanley Tucci, Amy Ryan, Tate Donovan, Laura Benanti, Talia Balsam and Marc Maron.

September 4 – The Hallmark Channel movie Journey of My Heart will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A young wildlife biologist (Rhiannon Fish from the Australian soap Home and Away and the Hallmark Channel movie The 27-Hour Day) travels to a remote Alaskan nesting area of bald eagles where she receives inspirational guidance from a Native American family and help from a mysterious wilderness guide (Darien Martin from Legends of Tomorrow and the Lifetime movie V.C. Andrews’ Pearl in the Mist).

September 5 – The season finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will air on The CW at 8 PM

September 5 – The UPtv movie A Vineyard Romance will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Seattle magazine writer Samantha Hart (Rebecca Olson from The CW’s Kung Fu and the Hallmark Channel movie My Best Friend’s Bouquet) is sent home to write an article about the wedding destination of Hawthorne Vineyards, she discovers the ex (Marcus Rosner from When Calls the Heart and the Hallmark Channel movies A Harvest Wedding and Love on Harbor Island) who broke her heart not only runs the vineyard, but he’s about to get married there.

September 5 – The 5th season of Billions will premiere on Showtime at 9 PM

September 5 – The PBS 4-part series Guilt, originally from the BBC, will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: In Edinburgh, two brothers (Mark Bonnar from Unforgotten and Jamie Sives from To the Ends of the Earth) accidentally kill a man while driving home from a wedding. After deciding to cover it up, they must dodge encroaching suspicions from the man’s family and friends who suspect that his death was not a mistake.

September 6 – The season finale of The CW drama The Republic of Sarah will air at 9 PM

September 6 – The Lifetime movie Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This latest made-for-TV movie will explore what really happened inside the palace that drove Prince Harry (Jordan Dean) and Meghan Markle (Sydney Morton) to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie.

September 7 – The 6th season of Queen Sugar will premiere at 8 PM on OWN

September 7 – The premiere of American Crime Story: Impeachment will air on FX at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: This version of the anthology will unravel the national crisis that swept up Paula Jones (Annaleigh Ashford), Monica Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein) and Linda Tripp (Sarah Paulson) as principal characters in the country’s first impeachment proceedings in over a century. Clive Owen will play President Bill Clinton, Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton, Cobie Smulders as Ann Coulter, Mira Sorvino as Marcia Lewis, Margo Martindale as Lucianne Goldberg and Kathleen Turner as Susan Webber Wright.

September 8 – The Disney+ series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. (a reboot of sorts to Doogie Howser, M.D.) will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Set in modern-day Hawaii, Lahela Kamealoha (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) is a 16-year-old prodigy juggling a budding medical career and life as a teenager. Her parents are played by Kathleen Rose Perkins and Jason Scott Lee.

September 8 – The 90-minute season finale of Good Trouble will air on Freeform at a special night: 9:30 PM

September 9 – The season finale of Heartland will air at 8 PM on UPtv followed by the return of the final season of 800 Words at 9 PM

September 9 – The new crime drama Kin will debut online on AMC+ today

Show Synopsis: The series focuses on the lives of a small, but tight-knit fictional Dublin crime family, The Kinsellas, who are embroiled in a war against a powerful drug kingpin, Eamon Cunningham (Ciaran Hinds from Justice League and The Terror). A boy is killed and his family embark on a gangland war with an international cartel – a war that is impossible to win. It’s David and Goliath. The cast includes Aidan Gillen (Game ofThrones), Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Maria Doyle Kennedy (Orphan Black and Outlander).

September 10 – The Apple TV+ movie Come From Away will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The musical tells the true story of 7,000 people stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland after all flights into the US are grounded on September 11, 2001. This is a film adaptation of the Broadway hit musical featuring an ensemble cast that includes members of the original and current Broadway casts.

September 10 – The sixth and final season of Lucifer will premiere on Netflix online today

September 10 – The Netflix feature film Kate will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An assassin (Mary Elizabeth Winstead from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Mercy Street), after learning that she has only 24 hours left to live after being poisoned, goes on a manhunt through the streets of Tokyo and befriends the young daughter (newcomer Miku Martineau) of a past target. The cast includes Woody Harrelson and Michiel Huisman.

September 11 – The Hallmark Channel movie Roadhouse Romance will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Country music fan Callie (Lauren Alaina, American Idol runner-up in 2011) is determined to continue her late grandfather’s legacy. While TV director Luke (Tyler Hynes from the Hallmark Channel movies It Was Always You and Flip That Romance) is in town, he teaches her that sometimes it’s best to look forward instead of back.

September 12 – The UPtv movie Love in Translation will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Linguistics Ph.D. student Julie Walters (Michelle Argyris from General Hospital) can speak almost every language you can imagine. She is a big believer that languages are best learned when doing fun activities like taking a painting class, hiking or visiting a Museum. Things turn upside down for Julie when handsome Dan (Corey Sevier from Cedar Cove and the Hallmark Channel movie Northern Lights of Christmas), the curator at the museum she dreams to work at, contacts her to get some French classes, and is all about doing it the fun way! As Julie and Dan get into all the fun activities that Julie usually plans for her students, sparks soon fly – could this be the perfect match?

September 12 – Fantasy Island will air an episode at 8:30 PM (a special night and time) on FOX

September 12 – The EPIX period piece drama Chapelwaite moves to its new timeslot of 9 PM tonight

September 12 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Redemption in Cherry Springs will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After fallout from a story, reporter Melanie (Rochelle Aytes from Mistresses and S.W.A.T.) goes home to Cherry Springs for a break. When a friend disappears, she uses her skills to get to the truth, to the local detective’s (Keith Robinson from Dreamgirls) dismay. Frankie Faison also stars.

September 12 – The 5-episode limited series Scenes From a Marriage will debut on HBO at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The series explores love, hatred, desire, monogamy, marriage, and divorce through the lens of a contemporary American couple. Mira (Jessica Chastain) is a confident, ambitious tech executive left unfulfilled by her marriage, and Jonathan (Oscar Isaac) is a cerebral and accommodating philosophy professor desperate to keep their relationship intact.

September 12 – The new Showtime drama American Rust will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: In an economically devastated Pennsylvania steel town, a complicated and compromised chief of police (Jeff Daniels) is forced to decide how far he’s willing to go when the son of the woman he loves (Maura Tierney) is accused of murder. A harrowing journey into the lives of a small town with big secrets, where people are driven by loyalty, love and desperation – and bad choices come far too easy. The cast includes Mark Pellegrino.

September 12 – The season finale of the PBS drama Guilt will air at 10 PM

September 13 – The drama Y: The Last Man, based on the acclaimed DC Comics series, will debut on FX on Hulu online today

Show Synopsis: The post-apocalyptic series follows the female survivors, after every single man on the planet except one – Yorick Brown (Ben Schnetzer from Saint Judy) dies, as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better. The ensemble cast includes Diane Lane, Marin Ireland, Olivia Thirlby and Amber Tamblyn.

September 14 – The season finale of The Oval will air on BET at 9 PM

September 15 – The one-hour series finale of Younger will air on TV Land at 10 PM

September 16 – The Peacock series Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the international best-selling thriller, the series follows the early adventures of young Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Ashley Zukerman), who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a chilling global conspiracy. The cast includes Valorie Curry, Rick Gonzalez and Eddie Izzard.

September 17 – The series finale of Burden of Truth will air on The CW at 8 PM

September 17 – The second season of The Morning Show will premiere online on Apple TV+ today

September 17 – The HBO Max feature film Cry Macho will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Ex-rodeo star Mike Milo (Clint Eastwood, who also directs) is hired by his former boss, Howard Polk (Dwight Yoakam), to kidnap his Mexican son Rafael and transport him to Texas.

September 17 – The Syfy thriller SurrealEstate will air at 10 PM

September 18 – The Hallmark Channel movie Raise a Glass to Love will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Aspiring Master Sommelier Jenna (Laura Osnes) returns to her family vineyard to study and is intrigued by the natural methods of the handsome Argentinian winemaker, Marcelo (Juan Pablo Di Pace from Fuller House). Master Sommelier Jennifer Huether consults and appears as herself in a cameo role.

September 19 – The 73rd Annual Emmy Awards will be broadcast on CBS at 8 PM

September 19 – The season finale of Fantasy Island will air on FOX at 8 PM (on a special night and time)

September 19 – The original movie Finding Love in Mountain View will debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After learning that she’s been entrusted to take care of her deceased cousin’s children, an architect (Danielle C. Ryan) is torn between focusing on her career and honoring her cousin’s wish. Myko Olivier co-stars.

September 20 – 9-1-1 will air its season premiere on FOX at 8 PM followed by the new drama The Big Leap at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (The Big Leap): The show revolves around a group of diverse, down-on-their-luck characters attempting to change their lives by participating in a potentially life-ruining reality dance show featuring a modern reimagining of “Swan Lake.” The ensemble cast includes Scott Foley (Scandal and Felicity), Teri Polo (The Fosters), Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs), Ser-Darius Blain (Jumanji reboot franchise) Mallory Jansen (Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and Galavant), Kevin Daniels (Modern Family), Raymond Cham Jr. (Five Points), Jon Rudnitsky (SNL and Catch-22), Anna Grace Barlow (The Goldbergs) and newcomer Simone Recasner.

September 20 – The new NBC drama Ordinary Joe will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: The series centers on Joe Kimbreau (James Wolk from Zoo and Tell Me a Story), as he makes a pivotal, life-changing decision at his college graduation and follows him on three parallel timelines: as a police officer, as a music star, and as a nurse. The cast includes Natalie Martinez (Under the Dome and The Fugitive), Elizabeth Lail (You and Once Upon a Time), Adam Rodriguez (CSI: Miami) and Charlie Barnett (Chicago Fire).

September 20 – The 19th season premiere of NCIS, now on its new night, and at its new time of 9 PM, will air on CBS followed by the debut of the new spin-off NCIS: Hawai’i at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (NCIS: Hawai’i): The spin-off will be centered on the island with the first female Special Agent in Charge, Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey from Truth Be Told) and her unwavering team of specialists. The cast includes Noah Mills (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and The Brave), Enver Gjokaj (Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and Dollhouse), Alex Tarrant (800 Words), Yasmine Al-Bustami (The Originals and The Chosen), Tori Anderson (Blindspot and No Tomorrow) and Jason Antoon (Famous in Love and Claws).

September 21 – The Resident will air its 5th season premiere on FOX at 8 PM followed by the debut of the new drama Our Kind of People at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (Our Kind of People): The new series follows a strong-willed, single mom (Yaya DaCosta from Chicago Med) as she sets out to reclaim her family’s name and make an impact with her revolutionary hair care line that highlights the innate, natural beauty of black women. But she soon discovers a dark secret about her own mother’s past that will turn her world upside-down and shake up this community forever. The cast includes Morris Chestnut (The Resident), Joe Morton (Scandal and Eureka), Rhyon Nicole Brown (Empire), Lance Gross (Hawaii 5-0) as well as soap legend Debbi Morgan and L. Scott Caldwell (Lost and All Rise).

September 21 – FBI and FBI: Most Wanted will air their season premieres on CBS at 8 and 9 PM respectively followed by the new spin-off series FBI: International that will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (FBI: International): Headquartered (and filmed) in Budapest, elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens wherever they may be. The Fly Team’s Special Agent Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank from The Man in the High Castle), their accomplished and dedicated leader, puts his missions ahead of his personal life and is rarely seen without the team’s “secret weapon” – their trusty Schutzhund dog, Tank. The team includes Heida Reed (Poldark), Carter Redwood (The Long Road Home), Vinessa Vidotto (Lucifer) and Christiane Paul (Counterpart).

September 21 – The 4th season premiere of New Amsterdam will air on NBC at 10 PM

September 22 – The season finale of Nine Perfect Strangers will air on Hulu online today

September 22 – The season premieres of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. will air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

September 22 – The reboot of The Wonder Years will debut on ABC at 8:30 PM

Show Synopsis: The coming-of-age comedy will be set in the late 1960s, taking a nostalgic look at a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama, through the point of view of imaginative 12-year-old Dean Williams. Don Cheadle provides the voice of adult Dean while Dule Hill (The West Wing and Psych) will play patriarch Bill Williams.

September 22 – The 4th season premiere of A Million Little Things will air on ABC at 10 PM

September 23 – The third season premiere of Doom Patrol will air on HBO Max online today

September 23 – The two-hour season premiere of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will air at 8 PM on NBC followed by the premiere of Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10 PM

September 24 – The series finale of Goliath will air online on Amazon today

September 24 – The series premiere of the sci-fi drama Foundation will debut online on Apple TV+ today

Show Synopsis: Based on the epic saga by Isaac Asimov, the fantasy series focuses on what happens when revolutionary Dr. Hari Seldon (Jared Harris from The Crown and Chernobyl) predicts the impending fall of the Empire, he and a band of loyal followers venture to the far reaches of the galaxy to establish The Foundation in an attempt to rebuild and preserve the future of civilization. Enraged by Hari’s claims, the ruling Cleons – a long line of emperor clones – fear their unrivaled reign may be weakening as they’re forced to reckon with the potential reality of losing their powerful legacy forever. The cast includes Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies).

September 25 – A special presentation of Frankie Drake Mysteries will air at 7 PM on Ovation

September 25 – The Hallmark Channel movie Taking the Reins will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A writer (Nikki DeLoach) goes back to the family ranch to write an article about her passion for horses and discovers what ended her marriage and why she stopped riding horses. The cast includes Scott Porter (Hart of Dixie), Corbin Bernsen (Psych) and Janine Turner (Northern Exposure).

September 26 – The UPtv movie Romance in the Wilds will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Deep in the Rocky Mountains, lightning strikes a mining site, sparking a deadly wildfire and igniting an unexpected romance between a forest ranger and a geologist as they race to escape the flames. The cast includes Victor Zinck, Jr., Laura Vandervoort and Kate Vernon.

September 26 – The second season premiere of The Walking Dead: World Beyond will air online on AMC+

September 26 – The UPtv movie Calling for Love will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Successful podcast host Samantha Desouza (Karissa Lee Staples from Necessary Roughness and S.W.A.T.) has a passion for music and an aversion to romance after a recent bad experience. Just when her show is thriving, she is thrown in the deep end by her boss and re-assigned to host Heartwaves, a feel-good love songs show with a segment that reunites lost loves. Despite her initial lack of enthusiasm, her first caller is the charismatic and charming Jake (Tajh Bellow from General Hospital) who has a problem she’s determined to help solve. What they didn’t expect was to fall for each other in the process. Now Sam must decide whether to shy away from love again, or to be a little more spontaneous and follow her heart.

September 26 – The season finale of Power III: Raising Kanan airs on Starz at 8 PM followed by the debut of the new series BMF at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (BMF): The series is Inspired by the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980’s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in this country. The cast includes Russell Hornsby (Grimm) and Steve Harris (The Practice) with rapper Snopp Dogg recurring.

September 26 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Rise and Shine: Benedict Stone will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Benedict Stone and his wife, Emilia (Tom Everett Scott and Mia Maestro) have separated after 10 years of trying for a baby. Benedict wants Emilia back, but Emilia needs space to figure out what she needs. So, when Benedict’s teenage niece Gemma (Ella Ballentine) mysteriously arrives on his doorstep his life is turned upside down. Benedict and his brother have been estranged for two decades but Gemma assures him her dad knows she’s there. When Gemma finds out that Benedict and Emilia are separated, she makes it her mission to get them back together. Love conquers all, doesn’t it?

September 26 – The 4th season premiere of The Rookie will air on ABC at 10 PM

September 26 – The Tony Awards will air on CBS at 9 PM

September 27 – The season premiere of The Good Doctor will air on ABC at 10 PM

September 28 – FBI: International will move to its regular 9 PM timeslot on CBS followed by FBI: Most Wanted moving to its regular 10 PM timeslot

September 28 – The new NBC drama La Brea will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The epic adventure begins when a massive sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles, pulling hundreds of people and buildings into its depths. Those who fell in find themselves in a mysterious and dangerous primeval land, where they have no choice but to band together to survive. Meanwhile, the rest of the world desperately seeks to understand what happened. In the search for answers, one family torn apart by this disaster will have to unlock the secrets of this inexplicable event to find a way back to each other. The cast includes Eoin Macken (Merlin and The Night Shift), Natalie Zea (Justified), Nicholas Gonzalez (The Good Doctor), Jon Seda (Chicago P.D.) and Karina Logue (NCIS: Los Angeles and Animal Kingdom).

September 30 – The season premieres of Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy will air as a crossover event on ABC at 8 and 9 PM respectively followed by the season premiere of Big Sky at 10 PM

September 30 – Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will air two episodes tonight on NBC, moving to its regular 9 PM timeslot
