Overworked Employees Set Up Their Bosses To Get Time Off in Christmas Matchmakers on ION

The ION holiday film Christmas Matchmakers will debut tonight, December 8.

It’s the week after Thanksgiving when Jen (relative newcomer Anna Marie Dobbins), a personal assistant, and Jon (relative newcomer Andrew Rogers), an advertising exec, happen to sit next to each other in the food court and bond over mutual problems with their bosses.

After complaining that they have no time for their personal lives, they come up with an elaborate plan to have their bosses date in order to get more time for their own Christmas vacations. As the two become closer and their plan begins to show signs of life, it turns out that Jen and Jon may just be the perfect match for each other.

The cast includes Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day), Dorian Gregory (the original Charmed) and Tracy Nelson (Father Dowling Mysteries).

Christmas Matchmakers debuts on ION at at 7/6c.

  5. Ion messed up and didn’t play the end of the movie, must have been because of all the long commercial breaks.

  6. Seriously, ION Television? We watched the entire movie, just to be left hanging at the end? You really should’ve aired the entire movie, or not bother airing it at all!

What happened? The movie was cut off… No ending.

  8. I agree we thought there must be a part 2 not mentioned instead it just cut short. I guess viewers were just supposed to know it all ended happily ever after, but just felt discarded.

  10. What kind of ending was that? Is there a part two? I’m very disappointed I wasted two hours watching the movie and don’t know how it ended.
