A Million Little Things: Unleashed

By  |

We got another new episode of A Million Little Things this week. Here is the official synopsis for season two, episode 6: Unleashed

Gary’s growing tension with Maggie comes to a head as she accidentally lets Colin out while she’s on the phone with Eric. Meanwhile, Delilah does a podcast about suicide, which helps her open up to Andrew.

Nice Girls Cay and Rueben share their thoughts:

Cay:

I feel like Gary was a bit unfair to Maggie as it relates to Eric and her mother. I generally love Gary but jealousy does not work for him. So sad that they found Colin and then he apologizes to Maggie and then she is the one to tell him that Colin might have another family.

Katherine watching Charlotte for Eddie – so awkward! Why does she keep doing this to herself? I’m beginning to think she’s got some sort of martyr complex. I enjoyed her telling off the woman in the park, though. It was interesting to find out that Jon and Katherine had a relationship, even if a platonic one.  Her desire to not keep the secret anymore is definitely going to cause some fireworks in the future!

Loved Rome’s anxiety about the potential for PJ and Sophie to hit it off, especially with him the only one who knows that they could be half siblings. Now that PJ’s been introduced to the gang, Rome’s going to have some ‘splaining to do if he does turn out to be Jon’s son.

I don’t exactly know why, but I do not like Delilah and Andrew together. It doesn’t bother me that he lied about his wife being alive, but it just makes it more clear that both him and Delilah have way too much going on in their lives and don’t need a relationship to complicate it even more. And if they aren’t going to have a relationship, I don’t understand his purpose.

There are a lot of new secrets/revelations this week that are sure to make things uncomfortable in the future – PJs paternity and Rome’s knowledge of it, Colin’s real family, and Katherine’s desire to stop keeping secrets.

Rueben:

I felt bad for Gary because of Colin going missing, but you are right, Cay, that he was quite a bit unfair to Maggie. It was an accident, not something that she meant to have happen. I had a feeling, before Eddie found that flyer, that something like that (the truth that Colin has been missing from his family) was going to be the result of their being at the shelter. My opinion on him not wanting to deal with that other family is wrong, though. I know he loves Colin and believes the dog’s home is with him; but that family was Colin’s family too. They deserve to know he is safe and in a loving home, and they need to figure out a way to make things right.

You have a good point, Cay, about Katherine. I hadn’t thought of that (her maybe having a martyr complex) until you mentioned it, but now that you did, that certainly does seem to be the case given the fact that she wants to tell the kids the truth. I don’t know if that’s a good idea especially given that Danny and Theo are at impressionable ages where they could really change with that kind of news. But then again, we’ve been talking that, at some point, the truth was going to come out, and perhaps telling the kids the truth – straight from the horse’s mouth so to speak – will be better than it “accidentally” getting revealed at the wrong possible time. Having the truth slip out and picking up the pieces will be worse than sitting the kids down and being completely honest with them.

I’ve had a suspicion about Andrew all along, and when he said his wife wasn’t really dead, the light bulb went off that she was in some kind of vegetative state. I’ve not really understood Andrew’s involvement in the story, and given this reveal I don’t see why he should continue to be part of the story. He’s not the money man behind the restaurant anymore, and he and Delilah cannot be together; neither of them are ready for that.

I have to wonder when all these reveals will be made. Will there be a big reveal about the baby during November sweeps or will they keep stringing us along until February sweeps? The next few episodes are going to be very interesting to watch that’s for sure.

Cay's family thinks her obsession with pop culture is "not normal". Normal is boring!
