The cast of Superstore made their first appearance at Comic-Con this year and we were on cloud nine to be in the press room.
We sat down with Nico Santos to talk about that intense season finale which he described as “difficult and scary” to film. He reveals that the writers told him ahead of time what was in store for Mateo, but he was still “shocked” when he read the script. Nico also praised how the writers “celebrate” the many sides of Mateo, the “crazy energy” of Comic-Con, and which superhero he’d want to be.
