Blindspot: Case: Sun, Moon and the Truth {Roundtable}

By  |

Friday night’s Blindspot put Weller’s and Remi’s life in the balance, but also answered a few more questions about what Remi’s ultimate goal is.

The official episode synopsis is as follows:

Remi’s schemes put her and Weller in danger, while Patterson, and Rich solve a mysterious puzzle at the FBI.

STUPID

Cay: Who the heck were those random people that came after the money? I guess they were a means to an end, but they just felt like an anomaly – they came out of nowhere and did not fit in with everything else.

Rueben: I get it that Jane/Remi and Weller were in a difficult situation with the C4 vests and then finding a way out of the FBI warehouse without Eve and her henchman finding them, but he trusted her to do anything for him rather than for herself. C’mon!?! Also Burke telling Weitz that she’d help him become President if he helped her – WTH is that all about?!

Lisa: Weller trusting Jane/Remi to work with him after he realized who she was. Come on Kurt! You are smarter than that.

Leah: Weller finally figuring out Jane was Remi. It’s been a point of annoyance for me so it being out is good, but enough is enough.

AWESOME

Rueben: Weller finally figured out that Jane is now Remi. It took him long enough!! Rich’s Book of Secrets presentation was pretty damn cool too.

Cay: Rich accusing Patterson of man-splaining him. Kurt finally knowing about Remi. Rich’s Book of Secrets movie.

Lisa: Woo hoo! The cat is finally out of the bag! It’s about time that Weller figured out it was Remi. I also loved watching RichDotCom’s Book of Secrets movie. RichDotCom and Patterson are gold together!

Leah:  Weller FINALLY knowing about Remi! It is about time. Also, anytime we get Rich and Patterson together it amuses me.

SO SO

Cay: The whole plot about Roman hiding a data cache in the ID of an FBI employee was a bit hard to believe. OTOH, we got to see more of the Rich and Patterson show, which is always fun.

Rueben: It was great that Patterson and Rich found another of Roman’s hidden caches, but using that random IT guy at the FBI office, that seemed, well, too random.

Lisa: Tasha and whatever her plan is. What is her end game? I’m starting to get bored with her storyline.

Leah: I liked the Roman character, but enough of his beyond the grave master planning.

YOUR THOUGHTS

Rueben: Can Reade really trust Weitz? I have serious doubts about that. What is Weller going to do now that he knows the truth about Remi? When are they going to catch up with Zapata so we can find out what is really going on there? Is she DEEP undercover or did she really go to the dark side? Give us more Patterson and Rich – they are just SO much fun to watch! Maybe an episode of them being out in the field because Reade is too busy with Weitz and Weller is on the hunt for Remi/Jane. Wouldn’t that be cool?

Cay: So happy that Kurt is now enlightened about Remi! And very intrigued to see where it goes from here. It also looks like it’s going to go down in Mexico really soon! Wonder if Rich will find out from Boston anytime soon that Zapata hired him?

Lisa: I’m glad Kurt finally figured out the truth about Jane. I am curious to see how the team will react once they find out and what lengths they will go to find her. Next weeks episode looks like it’s going to be a good one.

BLINDSPOT will be back with a new episode on Friday, December 7 at 8/7c on NBC.
