Season three deals with life after the death of J.R. Ewing. Bobby is now the senior member of the family. John Ross is out to gain his own notoriety, becoming either a best friend or a worst nightmare, depending on how you deal with him. Christopher is now single again and makes his way up the natural gas pipeline, trying for a foothold in the world. Elena is bent on justice for past wrongs, and Pamela Barnes, daughter of Ewing rival Cliff Barnes, is married to John Ross and will have her HEA, come hell or high water.

The description on the packaging reads:

“DALLAS Season 3 packs even more dramatic and emotional wallop than its predecessors when turmoil strikes Southfork. Scandal and treachery from every direction mean greater family divisions, along with tenuous alliances and diabolical double-crosses. John Ross (Josh Henderson) continues to prove he’s J. R.’s son, becoming more cunning than his daddy ever was. He’s determined to seize control of the Ewing empire, setting his sights on global energy domination – and he’s not about to cut Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe) and Bobby (Patrick Duffy) in on their share.

Meanwhile, as if Elena (Jordana Brewster) hasn’t done enough damage to her relationship with Christopher, she returns to Southfork with her own devious agenda. Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) conspires to put the wedding plans for John Ross and Pamela (Julie Gonzalo) on ice then she uncovers the groom’s affair with Emma (Emma Bell).

Endless malefactions and unforeseen twists and turns can only lead to one stunning conclusion…a Ewing will die.

The DVD comes with deleted scenes but nothing else as far as bonus material. Once again, grab your copy on January 13th!
