ABC
The NiceGirlsTV CASTING COUCH
This week’s casting couch features the following guest stars:
Actress Diane Farr (Numb3rs and Rescue Me) will guest star in an upcoming episode of the USA Network long-running drama Royal Pains, playing Annie, a private investigator who is stricken by mysterious symptoms during an investigation. She fears her illness will prevent her from solving the most important case of her career. An official start date for Royal Pains has yet to be announced, but it will be back this summer on the USA Network.
Actor Josh Malina (Scandal) will guest star in the upcoming CBS summer series Extant that will star Halle Berry as an astronaut returning from space after a 13-month solo mission. Malina will play Dr. Scott Beck, the lead doctor in an emergency room of the near-future, who delivers some chilling news to Molly Woods (Berry). Extant will debut on CBS on July 9.
Actress Erin Cummings (Spartacus: Blood & Sand) has landed a role in the upcoming ABC summer drama The Astronaut Wives Club that is based on the Lily Koppel book that tells the real story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race. Cummings will play Marge, Deke Slayton’s outspoken wife, whose colorful past is not in keeping with the cookie-cutter image that the astronaut wives are expected to present to the world. The Astronaut Wives Club has been delayed and will air on ABC sometime mid-season of the 2014-2015 TV season.
Actor Eddie McClintock (Warehouse 13) will guest star in the season finale of Castle, playing a small town hustler named Rogan O’Leary, who shares a complicated past with Beckett (series lead Stana Katic). Castle will be back with a new episode on ABC starting on April 21.
Actors Brendan Hines (Lie to Me and Betrayal) and DB Woodside (24 and Buffy) will both have multi-episode arcs on Suits when the USA Network drama returns for its fourth season. Hines will play Logan Sandler, the son of a millionaire entrepreneur who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and isn’t used to hearing the word “no.” His desire to prove himself by making a splashy acquisition will put him squarely in the middle of a conflict between Harvey (series lead Gabriel Macht) and Mike (series lead Patrick J. Adams). Meanwhile, Woodside will play Jeff Malone, a former SEC prosecutor who is a financial expert with a personal stake in Pearson Specter. His expertise is needed when the firm is faced with its toughest challenge yet. Suits will air its season finale (season 3) on April 10 with season four back this summer on the USA Network.
Please come back next week for more casting announcements.
