CASTLE: Teasing “In The Belly of the Beast” {SPOILERS}
Editor’s Note: Karen had the opportunity to watch this week’s episode of Castle in advance; below are some teasers for “In the Belly of the Beast”.
“All the world’s a stage and all the men and women are merely players in it.”
Unfortunately, this is not only true for Martha who is going to see a revival of Brighton Beach Memoirs. Kate also has a part to play in “Belly of the Beast”.
The episode starts out delightfully with the couple picking out fonts for their save the date cards. Castle does a lovely imitation of a particularly strict font. But what starts out light and fluffy cannot continue that way.
Even though it is Kate’s day off and she is relishing the thought of spending it with her future husband, she is called in on an emergency. What turns out to be a simple case gets her in very hot water… or not.
Kate’s Russian again comes in handy while going undercover (see “Deep in Death” Season 02 Episode 01). She finds a lot more than she bargains for when she is taken hostage by a drug ring. It’s headed by a man code named Lazarus. If you get a minute, you might want to look that name up. It has a significant meaning.
Even though Kate is desperately trying to leave clues, they are leading the precinct nowhere. And since they’ve gone dark, Castle has grown suspicious enough to finally go in.
I have to say not much happens back at the 12th – yet. Kate does all the leg work under some very difficult and stressful circumstances. As usual, she thinks quickly on her feet, and when she gets in over her head, she is saved by two of the most unlikely of sources.
There are connections made and many already connected but we have not seen the last of this story.
I may have left a few Easter eggs in my post… or maybe not. Live long and prosper folks (<–maybe even this)! See you after Monday!
