THE GOOD WIFE 5.12 – ‘We the Juries’ Herding Cats

By  |

TGW_elisThe video is creating all kinds of havoc in the Governor’s camp. It seems Eli may have inadvertently encouraged illegal activity during the election. Marilyn is not pleased. That’s great, because when Alicia was questioned, Ms. Florrick is the one even more displeased.  Peter gets the short end of that stick.

Will and Alicia wind up on the same side…well, sort of. They get harraunged into going to trial with two separate juries. Oh, my aching head! The maneuvering in the courtroom leaves everyone running around in circles. Will can not seem to let his hurt go and petty arguments still continue.
In the end, because their forces were not united, the success of the case is mixed. Someone needs to tell them what happens to a house divided.

TGW_2bullsWill has a great week after all because not only did he win his case, but Mr. Gardner ruffles Peter’s feathers by changing his recollection of their previous encounter. Peter is forced to retain client / lawyer privilege proving that Will will stoop to no level in taking stabs at Alicia.  He gets the added bonus of getting back at the Governor over Diane’s judgeship. Boy howdy! Alicia is going to be pissed when these shenanigans are revealed.

Kalinda and Cary face off once again, previously the round went to Kalinda, but Mr. Agos is a quick learner.  This time Kalinda gets duped in spectacular fashion in front of a very important client.  Touché! However, it looks like they may kiss and make up. I don’t know if I like where this is going.

Observations:

Eli called it when he said Will is the crazy one.

I wonder how the heck Peter will wiggle out of this tangle.

Again, Kalinda’s storyline is not so cool. I guess it bothers me that they have her sleeping around so much and for no good reason.

Will gets sweet revenge.

Will gets sweet revenge.
