BREAKING NEWS: Sleepy Hollow Renewed

The first new drama series of the 2013-2014 TV season to get a pick-up order is the FOX thriller Sleepy Hollow, which is a new take on the Headless Horseman fable starring British actor Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane and actress Nicole Beharie as Lt. Abbie Mills.

But this pick-up order is different than the typical “back 9” order for a first season show, as Sleepy Hollow was given a 13 episode order for its debut season – leaving room for The Following to take over the Monday night at 9 PM timeslot in early 2014 – and now has a 13 episode order for its second season. Yep, SECOND SEASON!

Congrats to the entire cast and creative team of Sleepy Hollow on the renewal!

The next new episode of Sleepy Hollow will air on FOX this Monday, October 7 at 9/8c.
