Series Regular Added to Body of Proof

Viewers of the ABC drama Body of Proof already know Mary Mouser as Lacey, daughter of Dr. Megan Hunt (Dana Delany); but they will start seeing a lot more of the young actress and her character as Mouser has been brought on board as a series regular. Lacey will now be living with her mom instead of her dad, making it necessary for Megan to amp-up in the parental department, which is a departure from last season when Megan was simply trying to win back her daughter’s love.

What is also interesting for the medical drama is that they will pay homage to Delany’s previous work on Desperate Housewives in the season premiere by visiting a plush cul de sac where a murder takes place. Delany even gets to have an in-joke piece of dialogue within the episode when Dr. Hunt says “I’ve actually lived on a street like this before, and nothing is as it seems”. [Source: TV Line]
