Marc Singer Returns to V

In probably the most exciting news for “V” fans and fans of the original, 1980’s series, Marc Singer will return to the new ABC  sci-fi drama, but in a new role. Originally, Singer played freedom fighter leader, Mike Donovan. In the second season, Singer will play Lars Tremont, “a member of a super top secret organization comprised of high-ranking military and government leaders from around the globe, who have long suspected that the Visitors — despite what they tell us — are very much not here in peace.” So basically, the same kind of character as Donovan.

At this year’s New York Comic Con, Executive Producer Steve Pearlman was asked if there was a chance at getting Singer on the show for season 2. He gave us reason to hope that this was in the works. As to which other actor from the original series will return, well, we already have Jane Badler returning as Anna’s mother. Is there hope that we may see Faye Grant as well?

This Nice Girl is happy enough that Singer will grace her TV screen once again. I had such a crush on him!
