They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 60)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Ashley Scott

Ashley Scott – Ashley’s first work in the industry was in the movie Artificial Intelligence: AI then she appeared in the second season of Dark Angel before landing a lead role in the short-lived series Birds of Prey alongside Dina Meyer. She then appeared in the box office movies S.W.A.T., Walking Tall and Into the Blue before landing a role in short-lived series Jericho. Most recently she has appeared in the box office movies 12 Rounds and The Kingdom and an appearance in CSI: Miami.

Callie Thorne

Callie Thorne – While Callie is best known for her role in Rescue Me, she has appeared in Homicide: Life on the Street, Ed, Third Watch, ER, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Wire and Prison Break. More recently she guest starred in episodes of Burn Notice, Royal Pains and White Collar. She also had a small role in the movie Analyze That.

Sarah Wynter

Sarah Wynter – Best known for her role in Season 3 of the FOX drama 24, she also appeared in a recurring role on The Dead Zone and the short-lived series Windfall. Most recently she has been seen on episodes of Damages and in guest roles on White Collar and The Flight of the Conchords. She also appeared in the made-for-TV movie Abducted: Fugitive for Love and the direct to DVD movie Dead Like Me: Life After Death.

Larry Poindexter

Larry Poindexter – Larry has a long resume of TV appearances dating back to the 80’s including roles in CHiPS, The Facts of Life and Days of our Lives. He also appeared in Hotel, Silver Spoons and Growing Pains. He also guest starred in Quantum Leap, Tour of Duty, Murphy Brown, the original Melrose Place and Sisters. Later on he appeared in episodes of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Party of Five and Early Edition. He had recurring roles in JAG and Blade: The Series and guest roles in Roswell, Popular, Nip/Tuck and NYPD Blue. He has appeared in the movies S.W.A.T., Material Girls and 17 Again and in the made-for-TV movie Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. Most recently he appeared in episodes of Supernatural, CSI: Miami, Without A Trace and Miami Medical.

Leonard Roberts

Leonard Roberts – While Leonard is best known for his recurring role in the early days of Heroes, he got his start in episodes of Due South and Any Day Now. He appeared in the made-for-TV movie The 60’s and the movie Drumline. He had a recurring role in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and made appearances in JAG, Providence, Tru Calling, 24, NCIS, CSI: Miami, Bones and Smallville. More recently he appeared in episodes of ER, Private Practice and Castle.

Rick Worthy

Rick Worthy – Some of Rick’s earliest work was in small roles in the movies While You Were Sleeping and Saving Isaiah. He then appeared in the short-lived shows Murder One, The Magnificent Seven and Eyes. He guest starred in episodes of Star Trek: Voyager, Felicity and Enterprise. He also made appearances in Stargate SG-1, Any Day Now, Dark Angel and CSI: Miami. He starred alongside Paul Wesley in the made-for-TV movie Fallen and appeared as one of the Cylons in Battlestar Galactica. More recently he was seen in Heroes, Castle, Medium and CSI. He also appeared in the final Battlestar Galactica movie The Plan.
