Cougar Town, The Good Wife Get Full Seasons

We’re a few weeks into the new season, and the networks are beginning to decide what to keep and what to jettison. This week saw two new Nice Girls favorite get picked up for a full season: ABC’s Cougar Town and CBS’s The Good Wife both received orders for the back 9.

ABC also picked up The Middle and Modern Family for a full season. Meanwhile, NBC has canceled Southland before it even premiered. The LA-based cop drama was set to premiere its second season on October 23, with six episodes in the can. No word yet on whether those episodes will air.
