Obama and “Idol” Knock Off “Bones” Hour

Fox messes with my head again as they knock off one hour of Bones this season. However, much to the relief of fans everywhere, that hour does not include the one where Booth and Brennan are supposed to hook up. According to Zap2It’s Korbi, because of Obama’s weekly prime time address tomorrow night, Bones could likely lose an hour to American Idol. Fox’s original plan was to push the long-awaited Booth/Brennan episode to the fall, but the fans would be having none of that. It looks like the fans have won this time.

Though FOX is not commenting on “Bones”‘ schedule, insiders tell me that a revised version of their spring lineup was released earlier today and though “Bones” will indeed lose an episode this season, the finale hour is no longer the one marked for postponement. Instead, they’ve axed ep 4.18 “Beaver in the Otter” (otherwise known on fan sites as ep 4.24, episode numbers are wonky this season due to several year 3 episodes being pushed last spring).

By the time this season’s television ends, I’ll have no hair left and my nails will be a memory of what was once beautiful in my world.
