Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Rescue Me actor Daniel Sunjata will be joining the NBC musical drama Smash when it returns for its second season. He will be playing a new love interest for Debra Messing’s Julia. Smash does not have an official return date yet, but it is anticipated to be back on NBC during mid-season.
