One of the more delightful panels that I got to see at Comic-Con was the cast of Merlin. Moderated by Jenna Busch, the panel was fun of delightful people with terrific British accents: Co-creators Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps, as well as Angel Coulby (Gwen), Katie McGrath (Morgana) and Colin Morgan (Merlin).

BONES fans were treated to an energetic, fun panel this year after a last minute cancellation last year. On the panel was executive producer Stephen Nathan, Emily Deschanel, and David Boreanaz. We were treated to a BONES video montage of highlights from season 7(which you can watch below!) and then some very entertaining Q&A with the panel.

One of the new CW shows for the fall is Beauty and the Beast, a reboot of an 80s show of the same name starring Linda Hamilton. We were treated to the entire pilot, which focuses on Kreuk’s character witnessing her mother being shot to death and barely escaping death herself. She is saved by some kind of animal. Years later, she’s grown up and become a cop and is lead to her savior, a genetically modified, but of course handsome, doctor, when she investigates some cases where other women are saved by…something.

The FBI closes in on Reese, Fusco meets the HR brass, and Finch finally comes face-to-face with a nemesis from earlier in the season

Christopher Pelant is back, and this time he's got his sights set on Brennan. When her grad school friend turns up murdered, all the clues start to point in her direction.

This week's number gets a little hot to handle as Reese tries to protect a trained government asset and someone gets a little too close to the truth about the Machine

BONES 7. 12 The Suit on the Set Booth and Brennan travel to LA to visit the set where they are filming the movie adaption of Bones' latest book. Turns out that Hollywood has taken some liberties with the screenplay and Brennan is less than pleased. Before she can cause too much trouble, though, a body of course shows up and she and Booth are on the case.

It's Reese's birthday and Finch gives him the day off. Not surprisingly, his birthday isn't so happy and he doesn't end up taking the day off.

Bones and Booth end up in the middle of a century-old feud between two families in rural West Virginia when an overall-clad body is discovered by a man hunting for truffles.

Person of Interest 1.20 Matsya Nyaya This week's title is an interesting bit of trivia. "Matsya nyaya" is a Hindu phrase that means "law of the fish", or basically "the small fish become prey of the big fish". A Hindu principle is that government is required to prevent this fundamental law of nature. All in all, an interesting little bit of philosophy when thought about in the context of this week's episode...
