Paley Fest 2018 in New York
Back in March, the Paley Center for Media held its 35th Annual Paley Fest in Los Angeles, and now it’s time for the New York branch of the center to hold its two-week celebration of TV series.
The line-up for the East Coast’s version of the fete include the following:
October 5 (Opening Night) – Outlander
A full line-up of participants has yet to be announced. Given the overwhelming popularity of this show, this is the only panel that is sold out.
October 6 – The Walking Dead
The panel will feature the season 9 premiere episode. Cast members Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride are anticipated to be part of the panel as well as Executive Producer Angela Kang. Additional participants are to be announced.
October 8 – Drunk History
Host, Co-Creator, Director and Executive Producer Derek Waters will be on hand as well as surprise guests.
October 9 – David Tennant Talks Doctor Who, Good Omens and Much More
October 10 – Documentary Now!
The panel is expected to feature Seth Meyers (Executive Producer), John Mulaney (Co-Executive Producer), Rhys Thomas (Creator and Executive Producer) and Alexander Buono (Executive Producer).
October 11 – Sunday Morning
Among the panelists set to participate in the panel are Host Jane Pauley and Executive Producer Rand Morrison [among others].
October 13 – Murphy Brown: A Conversation with Candice Bergen and Diane English
That same day a four-hour workshop session will be held for actor looking to break into TV, presented in connection with the New York City Mayor’s Office for Media and Entertainment.
October 14 – Shark Tank
While other participants have yet to be announced, it is expected that Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’ Leary will be part of the panel.
October 15 – The Good Fight
Among the panelists are expected to be cast members Christine Baranski, Rose Leslie, Audra McDonald, Cush Jumbo, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi and Sarah Steele as well as Executive Producers Michelle and Robert King.
October 16 – The Connors
The panel will include cast members John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman as well as additional guests; and will feature a live screening of the premiere episode
October 18 – Top Chef
Expected to be part of the panel are Tom Colicchio, Padma Lakshmi, Gail Simmons, Graham Elliot and Season 15 winner Joe Flamm.
