It’s a packed Thursday as May sweeps gets underway. Can you believe we only have two more episodes of The Vampire Diaries left? What a first year that show has had! Plus Bones & Fringe get musical and Malcolm McDowell gives Patrick Jane a run for the money.
The Vampire Diaries – the CW 8/7c
“Blood Brothers” – While Stefan (Paul Wesley) struggles to come to terms with his past, both he and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) reveal parts of their history to Elena (Nina Dobrev), until she finally learns the truth about how they became vampires. Pearl (guest star Kelly Hu) has an ugly confrontation with Johnathan Gilbert (guest star David Anders). Damon and Alaric (Matt Davis) try to find a mysterious invention before Johnathan does. The friendship and flirtation between Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Anna (guest star Malese Jow) continues to grow. Katerina Graham and Sara Canning also star.
Bones – FOX 8/7c
“The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle” – When the body of a rich adventure-seeker is found in a hotel laundry machine, Booth and Brennan are led to the last place he was seen: a Rock ‘n Roll Fantasy Camp. While Brennan and Booth lead the investigation outside the lab, Hodgins, Angela and intern Arastoo (guest star Pej Vahdat) use a fragment of prehistoric wooly mammoth tusk – found with the remains – and Angela’s knowledge of the music industry to connect the evidence to potential suspects. Meanwhile, Cam looks for a doctor for her daughter Michelle.
Supernatural – the CW 9/8c
“The Devil You Know” – The demon Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) he can help them find the remaining Horsemen rings so they can trap Lucifer. The brothers are doubtful until Crowley leads them to Brady (guest star Eric Johnson), the Handler for Pestilence (guest star Matt Frewer) and Death. However, Brady refuses to give up their locations and sets Pestilence after the Winchesters.
Fringe – FOX 9/8c
“Brown Betty” – While Walter deals with some very upsetting news, he tells Olivia’s niece, Ella (guest star Lily Pilblad), a fairy tale that includes musical performances by Olivia and Agent Broyles.
The Mentalist – CBS 10/9c
“Red All Over” – When a media mogul is murdered, Patrick Jane and the CBI team investigate cult leader Bret Stiles, who may have had an axe to grind following the publication of a critical story about his group. Malcolm McDowell (“Entourage”) guest stars as cult leader Bret Stiles.
