They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 48)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Leah Cairns

Leah Cairns – Leah first appeared on television in an episode of Tru Calling and the followed that up with a role in the made-for-TV movie I Want to Marry Ryan Banks. She then had a guest appearance in Supernatural and the box office movie 88 Minutes. She then had a recurring role in Sanctuary and Kyle XY. Most recently she was seen in Battlestar Galactica.

Sarah Carter

Sarah Carter – Some of Sarah’s earliest TV appearances were on Wolf Lake and Dark Angel then she appeared in the box office movie Final Destination 2. This was followed by a role in the short-lived series Black Sash and several appearances in Smallville and Numb3rs. She was a regular on the series Shark and had guest roles in Dirty Sexy Money, The Cleaner, CSI: NY and White Collar. She appeared in the box office movie Skinwalkers and the made-for-TV movie Confessions of a Go-Go Girl.

Amanda Schull

Amanda Schull – Best known for her leading role in the cult classic ballet-themed movie Center Stage, Amanda has appeared in episodes of The Cleaner, Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer, Lie To Me and Bones. She recently appeared in the made-for-TV movie Sorority Wars alongside Lucy Hale and most recently has been seen in several episodes of One Tree Hill.

Dameon Clarke

Dameon Clarke – Dameon has a long resume with voice work in the Japanese animated series Dragon Ball, but his first TV appearance was in an episode of Third Watch. He then guest starred in Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, Without A Trace and What About Brian. He had a small recurring role in Prison Break and 24. More recently, he has been seen in Supernatural, Raising the Bar, CSI, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: NY and Castle. He appeared in the box office movies The Alamo and the made-for-TV movie Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal.

Alexis Cruz

Alexis Cruz – Best known for his role in the box office movie Stargate, which lead to an occasional recurring role in the TV series, Alexis first appeared in episodes of The Cosby Show, NYPD Blue, Providence, The District and the short-lived series Dangerous Minds. He also had a recurring role in Touched By An Angel, American Family and Shark.

Sam Witwer

Sam Witwer – While viewers took note of Sam in his role in one season of Smallville, he has appeared in episodes of ER, Dark Angel, She Spies, Angel, Enterprise, JAG, Cold Case, NCIS and Bones. He also had a recurring role on Battlestar Galactica followed by appearances on Dexter, Shark and CSI. He appeared in the box office movies Crank, Gamer and The Mist. His voice is featured in the video games Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and he has two upcoming projects: No God, No Master and The Return of Joe Rich. He has also recently been cast in the CBS pilot The Quinn-Tuplets.
