They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 47)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Dichen Lachman

Dichen Lachman – Being best known for her work on the short-lived FOX series Dollhouse, Dichen isn’t a newcomer to TV as she appeared in the Australian series Neighbours for two years. She most recently appeared in an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles and was in the movie Aquamarine. She will soon be seen in the movie Sunday Punch.

Shannon Lucio

Shannon Lucio – Landing a role on the FOX hit series The O.C. catapulted Shannon into the limelight, but prior to that she had made guest appearances in episodes of ER, NYPD Blue, The Division and CSI: Miami. She was in the made-for-TV movie Spring Break: Shark Attack and the movies Fireflies in the Garden and Feast of Love. She also appeared in the final season of Prison Break and guest starred in Criminal Minds and Grey’s Anatomy. She has three projects coming up, including Numb, Swerve and Autopilot.

Naoko Mori

Naoko Mori – Best known for her role in the BBC series Torchwood, Naoko has also appeared in episodes of Doctor Who, Spooks (aka MI5) and Absolutely Fabulous. She appeared in the UK mini-series Psychos and had small roles in the movies Hackers and Spice World. She is currently filming the movie Lennon Naked with Christopher Eccleston, appearing as Yoko Ono in the film.

Jason O'Mara

Jason O’Mara – Jason has been seen in the UK series Berkeley Square, The Bill and Monarch of the Glen before appearing in the made-for-TV movie Band of Brothers. He starred in the short-lived series The Agency and In Justice and made appearances in episodes of CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds and The Closer. He was also seen in Men In Trees, Grey’s Anatomy, and Trust Me. He also had the lead in the short-lived US series Life on Mars (based on of the popular UK series) as well.

Lee Pace

Lee Pace – Lee is best known for his role in the critic- and fan-favorite Pushing Daisies, but he has also appeared in the short-lived series Wonderfalls and the made-for-TV movie Soldier’s Girl. He has appeared in the box office movies Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Possession with Sarah Michelle Gellar, A Single Man and When In Rome with Kristen Bell. He will be seen in the upcoming movie Marmaduke and has three other upcoming projects 30 Beats, The Resident and Ceremony.

Brady Smith

Brady Smith – While his wife – Tiffani Thiessen from White Collar – is better known to television viewers, Brady has a long resume of guest appearances in JAG, Presidio Med, Skin, Charmed, Judging Amy, CSI: Miami, ER, The Closer, Life, NCIS, Side Order of Life, Las Vegas, Shark and Women’s Murder Club. Most recently he has been seen in the Hallmark Channel movie Ice Dreams and episodes of Castle, Ghost Whisperer and CSI.
