NICE BOY OF THE WEEK: AARON ASHMORE

Our Nice Boy this week is no stranger to our site, in fact he was Nice Boy of the Week last year! But since we love him so much, Aaron Ashmore is our Nice Boy for the second time!

Not to be confused with his twin brother Shawn, you know Aaron from Warehouse 13, Smallville, Lost Girl, In Plain Sight, The Listener and Fringe. I am so excited for his new show Killjoys on Syfy where he plays John (an interplanetary bounty hunter that is dyslexic but can fix or build anything). This show looks so good and I am excited that Aaron is back on TV regularly. At the Syfy press tour, when he was asked why he wanted to be a part of Killjoys he said:

“I think, for me, the pedigree of everybody involved – Michelle (Lovretta), I had done Lost Girl, and I had a little recurring part on that and really enjoyed that show, and also Temple Street, you guys from Orphan Black, I mean, those are two very successful, interesting shows. So when you hear that those people are getting together to do something, it automatically peaks your interest. Also, when I first auditioned for the show, I remember just reading a scene and playing the scene and being like, well, I think I want to do this. And then when I got the first script and got a chance to sort of read the script, I was like, oh, yeah, this is definitely going to be good! So even from the very beginning — I was very excited.”

Well I am equally excited about Killjoys and Aaron’s part in it. This show looks like a ton of fun! So tune if for the series premiere Friday, June 19th at 9/8c on Syfy and keep up with Aaron on Twitter @aaronrashmore
