They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 43)

By  |

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Kathleen Munroe

Kathleen Munroe – Some of Kathleen’s first appearances on TV were in episodes of 1-800-Missing, Tarzan and Kevin Hill. She then appeared in the short-lived series Beautiful People and had a recurring role in the series Durham County. She had guest roles in The Dresden Files, Supernatural, Moonlight, Cold Case, CSI: NY, Without a Trace, Flashpoint and NCIS: Los Angeles. She also appeared in the made-for-TV movie Accidental Friendship. She will soon be seen in the Hallmark Channel movie The Wild Girl alongside Brian Austin Green.

Ashley Newbrough

Ashley Newbrough – Ashley made her first big splash on TV in the short-lived CW series Privileged alongside Joanna Garcia and Lucy Kate Hale. Prior to that she made numerous guest appearances in the Canadian series Rent-a-Goalie and The Best Years and guest starred in an episode of 1-800-Missing and a couple episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation. She was also in the horror movie Kaw with Sean Patrick Flanery.

Kathleen Rose Perkins

Kathleen Rose Perkins – Some of Kathleen’s first TV appearances included CSI: Miami, Miss Match, Without a Trace and How I Met Your Mother. She followed those up with several appearances in Tell Me You Love Me, the short-lived TNT series Trust Me and Gary Unmarried. She had guest roles in Nip/Tuck, Grey’s Anatomy, Eli Stone and Castle. Most recently, she has been seen in episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles, Til Death and The Mentalist. She will be seen in the dark comedy movie 10 Years Later. She has also been cast in the comedy pilot Episodes for Showtime, starring alongside Matt LeBlanc and Claire Forlani.

Mark Hildreth

Mark Hildreth – Mark has been working in the industry since the mid-1980’s, but his first real breaks were in the Canadian series Just Cause and the short-lived syndicated series Young Blades. More recently he has appeared in episodes of Eureka, Being Erica, Supernatural and V (the new 2009 version). His movie work includes Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. He also had a small recurring role in The Tudors.

Sean Maguire

Sean Maguire – Sean appeared in the British series EastEnders for one season then crossed over to American television in the series Eve. He also appeared in the short-lived series The Class, the spoof series Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire and the pilot episode of the revamped (albeit short-lived) series Cupid. He also appeared in the box office spoof Meet the Spartans and the made-for-TV movie Prince Charming.

Kenneth Mitchell

Kenneth Mitchell – Kenneth got his start in the short-lived shows Leap Years and Odyssey 5, but he is probably best known for his role in Jericho. He has appeared in episodes of Flashpoint, Without a Trace and Lie to Me as well as several episodes of Ghost Whisperer and the made-for-TV movie Meteor.

Do you agree? Disagree?  Do you recognize any or are they all unknowns to you?  NGTV would love to hear your thoughts.  The next installment will be posted on Wednesday.
