Save the NORTHPOLE? ‘Sno Problem for the Hallmark Channel!

By  |

In a world where we mostly communicate through social media and online chat rooms, Northpole reminds us that actually gathering together with family, friends and yes, even neighbors, can bring back the holiday magic that many of us remember.

The Northpole is powered by the magic of happiness from around the world. However, people have become too busy to bother with things like caroling, Christmas tree lighting ceremonies and small town gatherings. In general, Christmas spirit! This is causing the power to diminish. When that happens, toys don’t get made, Santa has nothing to deliver on Christmas Eve, kids are unhappy, and the cycle continues until there is no Northpole and no Santa.

Don’t lose your candy stripes though! Clementine is on the job and she’s recruited Kevin to help her. Kevin is a bit of a loner since moving to his new home town with his mother (Tiffany Thiessen). He just doesn’t seem to fit in with the other kids. But one thing that he still has is a very big imagination and a huge dose of Christmas spirit. He and Clementine devise a plan that would remind the whole town of its tradition of gathering together for the tree lighting ceremony in the park.

Kevin has the additional challenge of convincing his cynical mother that the Northpole is real and worth saving. With the help of Clemtentine and Ryan, Kevin’s teacher (Josh Hopkins) she begins to see that the glass is not always half empty and Christmas is the time for believing in the unbelievable.

“Northpole” also stars Bailee Madison (“Trophy Wife,” “Pete’s Christmas”), Max Charles (“Mr. Peabody & Sherman”), Robert Wager as Santa and Jill St. John as Mrs. Claus.

“Northpole” airs Saturday, November 15, at 8/7c on the Hallmark Channel.
