They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 32)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Laura Harris

Laura Harris

Laura Harris – Laura first got noticed in the first season of 24 and then moved on to the cult favorite Dead Like Me. She had guest roles in Jake 2.0, The Dead Zone, Stargate: Atlantis and CSI. She also had a lead role in the short-lived series Women’s Murder Club. She was  also seen this past summer in the ABC series Defying Gravity and she appeared in the made-for-TV movie Merlin and the Book of Beasts with James Callis.

Aisha Hinds

Aisha Hinds

Aisha Hinds – Her first work was on The Shield followed by appearances on Crossing Jordan, Boston Legal, Medium and CSI: NY. She then appeared in the short-lived series Invasion. She is probably best known as Miss Jeannette on True Blood, though. Some of her other guest roles include Standoff, Lost, Women’s Murder Club, Bones, Cold Case and several appearances on Dollhouse. Her movie work includes Madea Goes to Jail, Mr. Brooks, Assault of Precinct 13. Most recently she has appeared in the new TNT series Hawthorne and has one project in the works called Lost Dream.  She also most recently appeared in an episode of Desperate Housewives.

Tamara Mello

Tamara Mello

Tamara Mello – Tamara got her first real break with the short-lived WB series Popular, but prior to that role she appeared in shows such as 7th Heaven, Boy Meets World and Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane. Her movie roles include She’s All That and The Beautician and the Beast. She has also appeared in Strong Medicine, JAG, What I Like About You, Psych and Worst Week.

Chris Martin

Chris Martin

Chris William Martin – Not to be confused with the lead singer of the band Coldplay, Chris sometimes go by the name Christopher Martin or Chris W. Martin. His first big break was in the WB series Felicity, then he appeared in The L Word and made guest appearances in North Shore, Tru Calling and Veronica Mars. He has since appeared in the short-lived series Heartland, several episodes of Lincoln Heights, and guest roles in Bones, The Mentalist and Dollhouse. His movie work included AVPR: Aliens vs. PredatorRequiem and the made-for-TV movie Nora Robert’s Sanctuary. He appeared in several episodes of The Vampire Diaries and will be seen in the movie Fencewalker with Katie Cassidy and D. B. Sweeney.

Dylan Neal

Dylan Neal

Dylan Neal – He is probably best known for his role in the Lifetime series Blood Ties, but Dylan has had recurring roles in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Dawson’s Creek. His guest roles include Kevin Hill, Psych, Stargate: Atlantis and The L Word. He appeared in the movies 40 Days and 40 Nights and the made-for-TV movies Locusts, Storm Seekers and Cradle of Lies.  He has 4 projects in the works, including Mr. Noboby with Val Kilmer; My Family’s Secret with Nicholle Tom and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lighning Thief.  He will also be seen in an episode of the new FOX series Human Target.

Dean OGorman

Dean O'Gorman

Dean O’Gorman – Dean is probably best known for his roles in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Young Hercules and McLeod’s Daughters. He has also made guest appearances in Xena: Warrior Princess, Farscape, Moonlight and Legend of the Seeker.
