The Vampire Diaries -the CW 8/7c
“Family Ties” – Elena asks Stefan to escort her to the town’s annual Founder’s Party. Vicki gets Tyler to ask her to the party, then accuses him of trying to hide their relationship from his family. Zach (guest star Chris William Martin) reveals a useful family secret to Stefan. At the party, Damon tells Elena a story about the Salvatore family’s past, leaving Elena with questions that Stefan refuses to answer. Finally, Stefan takes action to get Damon out of his life for good.
Bones -FOX 8/7c
“The Plain in the Prodigy” – When human remains are found alongside the railroad, Brennan and Booth are called to the case. The bones belong to Levi Yoder, a member of the Amish community who disappeared roughly two months prior to his Rumspringa, or exploration of the outside world. Brennan and Booth discover that Levi was a piano prodigy, and their investigation leads them to believe that his extraordinary talent may have lead him to an untimely death. Meanwhile, Cam copes with the stress that comes from being a new parent, and Booth helps keep Cam’s stepdaughter Michelle (guest star Tiffany Hines) in line.

“White to Play” – Mark and Demetri head to Utah to track down a suspect who may be connected to the global blackout, Olivia comes face-to-face with the man from her vision, and Mark and Olivia’s daughter, Charlie, has trouble coping with the aftermath of her flashforward.
Supernatural -the CW 9/8c
“The End” – Sam tells Dean he wants to rejoin Dean in the battle of the Apocalypse, but Dean tells Sam that they are better off apart. Later, Dean awakens five years in the future in an abandoned city and is attacked by humans who have been infected with a demonic virus that turns humans into Zombies. Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) appears to Dean and explains that this is the world that exists as a result of Dean saying no to helping the angels fight Lucifer. Dean meets up with Future Dean, who tells him that the virus is the Devil’s endgame for destroying mankind.
Fringe -FOX 9/8c
“Fracture” – Peter, Walter, Olivia and Broyles pursue a strange and deadly occurrence in Philadelphia where a bomb blew up inside a train station but left no trace of any explosive device. The perplexing and unexplained set of circumstances returns Walter to the lab to closely examine the human remains where he uncovers an unlikely energy source that triggered the explosion. With the explosive threat of more bombs and links to a classified military project, the intense investigation leads Olivia and Peter to Iraq.
Community -NBC 9:30/8:30c
“Introduction to Film” – Jeff signs up for a class, taught by a “Carpe Diem” inspired Professor Whitman (guest star John Michael Higgins), thinking he can coast through and get an easy A. Jeff quickly discovers he’ll need to put in much more effort than expected just to pass. Meanwhile, Britta helps Abed with his dream of studying film.
The Mentalist – CBS 10/9c
“The Scarlet Letter” – Lisbon and the team work the case of a State Senator’s murdered intern, while Jane simultaneously tries to find out what new information Bosco has uncovered on the Red John case.
