Happy Sunday! I started off the day as a panelist on Accepting Their Gifts: A Midnight, Texas Fan Panel at 10am. We discussed the second season and how #Midnighters deserve a season 3! We are all still keeping our fingers crossed that a network (cough *Netflix* cough *Hulu* cough *Syfy*) will pick up this show that means so much to us. We need to see Fiji and Bobo’s baby, am I right? Thanks to everyone that came out and hopefully this won’t be the final Midnight, Texas Dragon Con panel.

Dwight in Shining Armor

Next, I went to a panel for a TV show called Dwight in Shining Armor. One of the best things about conventions is finding out about things you would never know about and this little gem is one of them. It is a TV show that is premiering its second season on September 22nd and they are currently filming season 3 and season 4 right here in Atlanta. It is a sci-fi fantasy show that it’s good for the whole family and you can watch for free. I plan to binge season 1 and if you would like to do the same you can see it online here.

My final panel of the weekend was one close to my heart called Heroes That Look & Live Like Us. We discussed the importance of representation and how heroes of Color are portrayed. It’s so important to create content for people of all walks of life to share different life stories that represent everyone. Hot topics were Black Lightning, Black Panther, and Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse (which I still think is one of the best films I saw last year). I left feeling inspired and heard. Thank you so much to everyone who attended.

Ghost Nation

I couldn’t let the con pass without going to my guilty pleasure panel with the original Ghost Hunters Steve Gonsalves & Dave Tango. They shared that they have some of the most convincing evidence of the paranormal on their new show Ghost Nation. Dave said it brought them both to tears. If you’ve watched the show, then you know that’s major because nothing ever happens to him. Tune in to the premiere of Ghost Nation on the Travel Channel October 11th!

Best Cosplay of the Day

My cosplay of the day is Vann Marcus as M’Baku from Black Panther. He was incredible!
