The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air all throughout October:

October 1 – The Hallmark Channel movie Girlfriendship will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After a booking mix-up, Samara’s (Tamera Mowry-Housley) birthday getaway turns into a week-long retreat on Edisto Island, in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, where she and her two best friends (Lyndie Greenwood and Krystal Joy Brown) rediscover their passions, their purpose and romance.

October 1 – The movie Home for Harvest is expected to debut on GAC Family at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A travel writer is surprised to be sent back to the hometown she left, heartbroken, years before. When she arrives, she’s confronted by romance – old and new. The film stars Brigette Kingsley and Landy Cannon.

October 2 – The new thriller series Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire will debut on both AMC+ and AMC at 10:06 PM

Show Synopsis: The series follows Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Claudia’s (Bailey Bass) epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).

October 2 – The season (possibly series) finale of Blood & Treasure will air online on Paramount+ today

October 2 – The Canadian drama Family Law will debut on The CW at 8 PM followed by the season premiere of Coroner at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (Family Law): The series centers around Abigail Bianchi (Jewel Staite), a high-paid personal-injury lawyer who’s good at blaming others – particularly when it comes to her own problems. After Abby’s husband kicks her out of the family home because of her drinking, she goes on a bender, shows up drunk in court and pukes on a client. The law society’s punishment is swift. She’s suspended, fined, and can only practice law again if she finds a senior lawyer who is willing to take her on and mentor her for a one year probationary period. Only one man is willing to take that risk: Harry Svensson (Victor Garber), who runs the top family law practice in the city. He also happens to be Abby’s estranged father, who left Abby and her complicated mother for his secretary when Abby was seven. Now, not only does Abby have to work for her father, she also has to work with her half siblings: Daniel (Zach Smadu), from Harry’s subsequent marriage and Lucy (Genelle Williams), from Harry’s third marriage.

October 2 – The UPtv movie A Country Romance will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A woman finds romance with a handsome local when she returns home to help her father with the family vineyard. The movie stars Alix Angelis and Jonathan Bennett.

October 2 – The season premiere of The Equalizer will air on CBS at the special time of 8:30 PM followed by the debut of the new series East New York at 9:30 PM

Show Synopsis (East New York): Amanda Warren will star as Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood, the newly promoted boss of the 74th Precinct, in East New York – a working-class neighborhood on the edge of Brooklyn in the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification. With family ties to the area, Haywood is determined to deploy creative methods to protect her beloved community with the help of her officers and detectives. But first, she has the daunting task of getting them on board, as some are skeptical of her promotion, and others resist the changes she is desperate to make. The ensemble cast includes Jimmy Smits, Richard Kind, Ruben Santiago Hudson and Kevin Rankin [among others].

October 2 – The 11th season fall premiere of The Walking Dead will air online on AMC+ as well as on AMC at 9 PM

October 2 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Fraternal twins Nikki (Hunter King) and Nora (Rhiannon Fish) are forced back into each other’s lives when they inherit a detective agency. As they solve a murder, they realize their differences may be their greatest advantage.

October 3 – The season premiere of The Good Doctor will air on ABC at 10 PM

October 3 – The season finale of the Acorn TV drama Recipes for Love and Murder will air online today

October 4 – The delayed season finale of FBI (that was pulled last TV season) will be aired on CBS at 8 PM

October 4 – The season finales of Leonardo and Devils will air on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively

October 4 – The season premiere of Cherish the Day will air on OWN at 9 PM

October 4 – The new series Sherwood will debut online on Brtibox

Show Synopsis: Lesley Manville stars as Julie Jackson, the wife of a former union activist, whose 2004 murder in Nottinghamshire, England kicks off this drama about a small, fractured community shattered by two unexpected killings and the manhunt that followed. The investigation also unearths historic divisions among lifelong neighbors and the police force that resulted from a union strike three decades before. The cast includes David Morrissey and Joanne Froggatt.

October 5 – The season premiere of Kung Fu will air on The CW at 9 PM

October 6 – The season premieres of Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy will air on ABC at 8 and 9 PM respectively followed by the debut of the new series Alaska Daily at 10:01 PM

Show Synopsis (Alaska Daily): Hilary Swank stars as Eileen Fitzgerald, a recently disgraced reporter who leaves her high-profile New York life behind to join a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage on a journey to find both personal and professional redemption. The cast includes Jeff Perry, Matt Malloy, Craig Frank and Grace Dove.

October 6 – The Peacock series A Friend of the Family will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the harrowing true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan (Hendrix Yancey and later played by Mckenna Grace) was kidnapped multiple times over a period of years by a charismatic, obsessed family “friend.” The Brobergs – devoted to their faith, family, and community – were utterly unprepared for the sophisticated tactics their neighbor used to exploit their vulnerabilities, drive them apart, and turn their daughter against them. The cast includes Anna Paquin, Austin Stowell, Colin Hanks, Jake Lacy and Patrick Fischler.

October 6 – The third season of Pennyworth will premiere on HBO Max online today

October 6 – The season premiere of Walker will air on The CW at 8 PM followed by the debut of the spin-off prequel series Walker: Independence at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (Walker: Independence): The prequel series is set in the late 180os, following Abby Walker (Katherine McNamara from Shadowhunters and Arrow), an affluent and tough-minded Bostonian whose husband is murdered before her eyes while on their journey out West. After crossing paths with Calian (Justin Johnson Cortez from 911: Lone Star), a curious Apache tracker, Abby arrives in the town of Independence, Texas, where she encounters diverse and eclectic residents running from their pasts, chasing their dreams, and keeping their own secrets. The cast includes Katie Findlay (The Carrie Diaries), Lawrence Kao (Wu Assassins) and Matt Barr (Blood & Treasure and Walker) [among others].

October 6 – The Nickelodeon movie Monster High: The Movie will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This live-action movie musical, based on the iconic Monster High franchise, is about the children of famous monsters and creatures. It follows Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris from Just Beyond), who was born half human and half werewolf, after she arrives at her new school, Monster High. She quickly makes friends with her classmates Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot from Dispatches from Elsewhere) and Draculaura (Nayah Damasen from Grey’s Anatomy), and for the first time in her life, Clawdeen feels like she has finally found a place where she fits in and can truly be herself, despite keeping her human half a secret. When a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal her real identity, Clawdeen must learn to embrace her true monster heart and find a way to save the day alongside her new friends. The cast includes Steve Valentine (Crossing Jordan) as Dracula and Lilah Fitzgerald as Ghoulia.

October 7 – The Netflix movie Luckiest Girl Alive will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The film centers on Ani FaNelli (Mila Kunis), a sharp-tongued New Yorker who appears to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a killer wardrobe and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon. But when the director of a crime documentary invites her to tell her side of the shocking incident that took place when she was a teenager at the prestigious Brentley School, Ani is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to unravel her meticulously crafted life. The cast includes Finn Wittrock, Scoot McNairy, Jennifer Beals and Connie Britton.

October 7 – The season premiere of S.W.A.T. will air on CBS at 8 PM followed by the debut of the new drama Fire Country at 9 PM and ending with the season premiere of Blue Bloods at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (Fire Country): Max Thieriot (SEAL TEAM) stars as Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region The series also stars Billy Burke, Diane Farr, Jordan Calloway and Kevin Alejandro.

October 8 – The Hallmark Channel movie Pumpkin Everything will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Amy (Taylor Cole) is a novelist who returns to her hometown to look after her stubborn grandfather Tom (veteran actor Michael Ironside) and his pumpkin-themed store. While there, she crosses paths with a man (Corey Sevier) from her past.

October 8 – The GAC Family movie How to Find Forever will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Marley’s brilliant at organizing other people’s engagements, but unlucky in finding romance herself. When designing her most important proposal yet, the man who could jeopardize it all may be the one who helps find her own love story. The film stars Erin Agostino and Aaron Ashmore.

October 9 – The UPtv movie Infamously in Love will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A frustratingly micromanaged popstar who dreams of the “ordinary” that life has to offer finds herself torn between her celebrity ex, the machinations of her controlling manager, and a developing romance with a down-to-earth record store owner. Will she gain more autonomy over her life – especially her love life – and start making decisions for herself, or will the celebrity machine be too powerful for her to ever feel even remotely normal? The film stars Jennifer Freeman and Adam Huss.

October 9 – The season finale of Van der Valk will air on PBS at 9 PM

October 9 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Mid-Love Crisis will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: With her 50th birthday a week away, Mindy (Teri Hatcher), a divorced teacher, finds herself in the throes of a bonafide mid-life crisis. The timing isn’t ideal, as it coincides with a long weekend visit from her daughter Rita (June Laporte) and Rita’s girlfriend Emma (Matreya Scarrwena), who comes along with her uncle Sam (James Tupper)… Mindy’s former high school sweetheart she hasn’t spoken to in over three decades. Her ex-husband Marc (Brian Markinson) gets thrown into the mix at Rita’s request, adding to Mindy’s angst. Between two exes under one roof vying for her affection and trying to talk Rita out of the big 50th birthday party she’s planning, Mindy has a lot to navigate as she learns to embrace her life and discover what she truly wants as she starts the next chapter.

October 9 – The season premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles will air on CBS at 10 PM

October 10 – The season premieres of All American and All American: Homecoming will air on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively

October 11 – The new show The Winchesters and the acquired series Professionals will both debut on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively

Show Synopsis (The Winchesters): Told from the perspective of narrator Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), the series focuses on the epic, untold love story of how John Winchester (Drake Rodger from The In Between) met Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly from American Housewife) and put it all on the line to not only save their love, but the entire world.

Show Synopsis (Professionals): The series follows Vincent Corbo (Tom Welling from Smallville and Lucifer), a top-tier security operative who is paid to protect the interests of rich and powerful clients by any means necessary – legal or not. After a next-gen medical-data satellite explodes on launch, Corbo is hired by the rocket’s designer, billionaire futurist Peter Swann (Brendan Fraser), who suspects sabotage. Complicating Corbo’s new gig is his former paramour and now Swann’s fiancée, medical visionary Dr. Grace Davila (Elena Anaya from Wonder Woman), who is racing to help stave off a global catastrophe. As Corbo and his team of veteran security professionals investigate the rocket disaster, they expose a lethal conspiracy of Swann’s corporate rivals, corrupt government officials, and a shadowy crime syndicate – all working to destroy Swann and take control of his tech empire.

October 14 – The season finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will air online on Amazon today

October 14 – The Apple TV+ 3-episode series Shantaram will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the nationally best-selling novel by Gregory David Roberts, the series follows a fugitive named Lin Ford (Charlie Hunnam from Sons of Anarchy) looking to get lost in vibrant and chaotic 1980s Bombay. Alone in an unfamiliar city, Lin struggles to avoid the trouble he’s running from in this new place. After falling for an enigmatic and intriguing woman named Karla, Lin must choose between freedom or love and the complications that come with it. The cast includes Alexander Siddig and Luke Pasqualino.

October 14 – The new drama High School will debut online today on Freevee (formerly IMDbTV)

Show Synopsis: Based on the best-selling memoir by recording artists Tegan and Sara Quin, the series will be told through the backdrop of 90’s grunge and rave culture, weaving between parallel and discordant memories of twin sisters growing up down the hall from one another. The series will star Railey and Seazynn Gilliland, Cobie Smulders and Kyle Bornheimer.

October 14 – The series finale of See will air online on Apple TV+ today

October 15 – The Hallmark Channel movie Autumn in the City will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Piper Grant (Aimee Teegarden) moves to New York for a fresh start and to find her career passion. As she bounces between different exciting temp jobs that take her all over the city, she meets Austin Edwards (Evan Roderick), an aspiring writer. While Piper’s sunny optimism is at odds with Austin’s jaded personality, the magic of the autumn season soon brings them closer together. When Piper realizes her true passion is illustration, they decide to team up on a children’s book project, and in the process, they discover the thing they’re really searching for might be each other.

October 15 – The UPtv movie My Boss’s Wedding will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Sparks fly when a personal assistant plans her boss’s wedding with the groom’s handsome nephew. The movie stars Holly Deveaux and Drew Seeley.

October 16 – The second season premiere of Miss Scarlet & the Duke will air on PBS at 8 PM followed by the debuts of both Magpie Murders and Annika at 9 and 10 PM respectively

Show Synopsis (Magpie Murders): Lesley Manville stars as Susan Ryeland, a book editor, who attempts to attain the final chapters of an unfinished mystery manuscript, which plunges her into a shocking mystery case of her own – one which will change her life in ways she’d never expected.

October 16 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Perfect Harmony will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Jack Chandeller (James Denton) and Barrett Woodward’s (Sherri Saum) mutual friends Naomi (Julia Benson) and Simon (Peter Benson) are ready to tie the knot, they ask the pair to be Best Man and Maid of Honor. Barrett is a buttoned-up college professor and Jack is a laid-back former pop star who have always been like oil and water, but they agree to set aside their differences to support Naomi and Simon. At the engagement party, an impromptu duet between Barrett and Jack begins to thaw the frost between them, much to his son Teddy’s (James real life son Sheppard Denton) dismay as Barrett is his professor. Slowly, Best Man and Maid of Honor begin to change their perceptions of each other and find they may be more in tune than either of them would have imagined.

October 16 – The UPtv movie Love in Wolf Creek will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Sam sets out to save a pack of wild wolves and a conservation refuge with the help of the town’s handsome newcomer. Starring Tim Rozon and Nola Martin.

October 16 – The third season premiere of Step Up: High Water will air on Starz at 9:56 PM

October 19 – The Netflix movie The School for Good and Evil will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The film adaptation of the best-selling YA fantasy series by Soman Chainani, the story follows best friends Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie) as they navigate an enchanted school for young heroes and villains — and find themselves on opposing sides of the battle between good and evil. The impressive ensemble cast includes Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Michelle Yeoh, Laurence Fishburne and the one and only Patti LuPone.

October 19 – The two-episode season 11 premiere of the anthology series American Horror Story: NYC will air on FX at 10 PM

October 20 – The second season of One of Us Is Lying will premiere online on Peacock today

October 21 – The Amazon drama The Peripheral will debut online today

October 21 – The 8-episode limited series From Scratch will debut online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: In this sweeping romance, an American woman (Zoe Saldana) loves and loses a Sicilian man she meets in Italy. Based on Tembi Locke’s best-selling memoir. The cast includes Danielle Deadwyler and Keith David.

October 21 – The first Christmas movie of the season Noel Next Door for the Hallmark Channel will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A hard-working, single mom (Natalie Hall) gets into a war of words with a neighbor (Corey Sevier) who she feels is ruining Christmas, only to find that this misunderstood grouch just may steal her heart.

October 22 – The Hallmark Channel movie We Wish You a Married Christmas will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Becca and Robby (Marisol Nichols and Kristoffer Polaha) are a married couple having a hard time connecting with each other as the holidays approach. Just before Christmas, they head to a cozy Vermont inn at the advice of their marriage coach so they can recharge. Their weekend away gets unexpectedly extended when a mishap puts their car out of commission and just may put them on the road to a very happily married Christmas.

October 22 – The holiday movie We Need a Little Christmas will debut at 9 PM on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Julie is adjusting to being a single mother (Erica Durance) to a grieving child while facing her first Christmas without her husband when she develops an unexpected friendship with her older neighbor Irene. The movie also stars Patrick Sabongui and Lynn Whitfield.

October 22 – The Great American Family will debut its first Christmas movie of the season, Destined at Christmas, at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Kim and Theo meet amid Black Friday shopping madness but there’s a definite spark between them. When a power outage causes some panic at a store, the couple gets separated. With Christmas coming, there should be plenty of distractions, but neither Kim nor Theo can forget the other. Both yearn to find each other but how with so little information to go on? It’ll take a little Christmas magic and destiny to bring them back together. The film stars Shae Robins and Casey Elliott.

October 23 – The Hallmark Channel movie A Kismet Christmas will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Sarah (Sarah Ramos) is a children’s book author who returns to her hometown, where she reconnects with her family and Travis (Carlo Marks), her teenage crush. She soon discovers that a long-held family legend might actually be true. Marilu Henner also stars.

October 23 – The UPtv movie Star-Crossed Romance will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Denver’s preeminent sportscaster, competitive single-mother Piper, is called to her son’s school for a disagreement between her son and another student, she dreads her time being wasted. But when she meets the other student’s equally-stubborn single father, Erik, the principal demands they give their kids the attention they deserve – by teaming up to stage the school play, Romeo and Juliet. Piper must get past her immature ego, face her burgeoning feelings, and figure out how to operate a hot-glue gun – and all before opening night.

October 23 – The season finale of House of the Dragon will air at 9 PM on HBO

October 25 – The new 3-episode series Karen Pirie will debut on BritBox

Show Synopsis: Newly-promoted Karen Pirie (Lauren Lyle from Outlander) is tasked with reopening a murder investigation that has been the subject of a controversial true-crime podcast. When teenage barmaid Rosie Duff was found brutally murdered in a St. Andrew’s graveyard in 1996, suspicion fell on the three students who discovered her body. But with a lack of forensic evidence, no charges were brought and the investigation floundered.

October 26 – The season finale of Tell Me Lies will air online on Hulu today

October 26 – The second season premiere of The Mysterious Benedict Society will air online on Disney+ today

October 26 – The Netflix movie The Good Nurse will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An infamous caregiver is implicated in the deaths of hundreds of hospital patients. The film stars Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Kim Dickens, Malik Yoba, Noah Emmerich and Nnamdi Asomugha.

October 27 – The season finale of Vampire Academy will air online on Peacock today

October 27 – Torn, the second movie in the trilogy of books by Jennifer L. Armentrout, will debut online on Passionflix today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Everything Ivy Morgan (Anna Maiche) thought she knew has been turned on its head. If she doesn’t figure out who she can trust-and fast-it’s not only her heart that will be torn apart, but civilization itself. Liam Hall is back as Ren; Andrew Rogers is back as Tink and Kevin Joy is back as The Prince.

October 28 – The Hallmark Channel movie A Cozy Christmas Inn will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Real estate exec, Erika (Jodie Sweetin), travels to Alaska during Christmastime to acquire a bed and breakfast, only to discover that it’s owned by her ex (David O’Donnell). While there, she finds herself falling in love with the town and quite possibly him.

October 29 – The Hallmark Channel movie Jolly Good Christmas will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: David (Will Kemp) is an American architect who recently moved to London for a prime opportunity in a prestigious firm. With just three days before Christmas, he crosses paths with Anji (Reshma Shetty), a professional shopper, who raises an eyebrow over his choice of a gift card for his girlfriend. David ultimately decides to hire Anji and, thanks to a series of unexpected events, finds himself on a wild adventure across Jolly Old London as Anji helps him search for the perfect present.

October 29 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Christmas Bedtime Stories will debut at 10 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Danielle’s husband goes missing in action during his deployment, she is left to raise her daughter on her own. Three years later, as she acclimates to life without him, she begins to tell her daughter bedtime stories of her father. The movie stars Erin Cahill, Steve Lund and Charlie Weber.

October 29 – The new Great American Family Christmas movie Catering Christmas will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A fledgling caterer, Molly Frost (Merritt Patterson), is hired by Jean Harrison, the perfectionistic director of the renowned Harrison Foundation, to cater this year’s annual Christmas Gala dinner. Things get complicated when Molly falls for Jean’s nephew, Carson (Daniel Lissing), a photographer with no desire to take over the family’s foundation — until his aunt assigns him to the task of making sure the catered dinner goes perfectly.

October 30 – The Hallmark Channel movie Ghosts of Christmas Always will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Katherine is a Ghost of Christmas Present and she must help one soul,Peter, rediscover his Christmas spirit. But this year has something unusual in store. The movie stars Kim Matula, Ian Harding and Reginald VelJohnson.

October 30 – The second season of The White Lotus will premiere on HBO at 9 PM

October 30 – The new dramas The Serpent Queen and American Gigolo will both air their season finales on Starz at 8 and 9 PM respectively

October 30 – The UPtv movie Squeaky Clean Mysteries: Hazardous Duty will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When her finances prevent her from earning a degree in forensic science, Gabby St. Claire (Jessica Blackmore) drops out of school to become a crime scene cleaner. When a routine cleaning job uncovers a murder weapon the police overlooked, Gabby realizes that the wrong person is in jail.With the help of her neighbor, Riley Thomas (Jamie Roy), Gabby plays detective. October 30 – The season finale of War of the Worlds will air on EPIX at 9 PM
