The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and more that will air during October:

October 1 – The Many Saints of Newark feature film will debut online on HBO Max today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Young Anthony Soprano (Michael Gandolfini, son of the late James Gandolfini) is growing up in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark, N.J., history, becoming a man just as rival gangsters start to rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family. Caught up in the changing times is the uncle he idolizes, Dickie Moltisanti (Alessandro Nivola), whose influence over his nephew will help shape the impressionable teenager into the all-powerful mob boss, Tony Soprano. The cast includes Leslie Odom Jr., Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Ray Liotta, Vera Farmiga and Billy Magnussen.

October 1 – The new 10-episode Netflix series Maid will debut online today

Show Synopsis: A single mother (Margaret Qualley) turns to housekeeping to make ends meet as she battles poverty, homelessness and bureaucracy. The cast includes Qualley’s real-life mom Andie MacDowell, Anika Noni Rose, Billy Burke and Nick Robinson.

October 1 – The Netflix feature film The Guilty will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A demoted police officer (Jake Gyllenhaal) assigned to a call dispatch desk is conflicted when he receives an emergency phone call from a kidnapped woman. The cast includes Riley Keough, Peter Sarsgaard, Christina Vidal, Ethan Hawke, Eli Goree, David Castaneda, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Paul Dano.

October 1 – Diana: The Musical is the new feature film that will debut online on Netflix today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This film version of the upcoming Broadway play, which was put on hold due to the pandemic, will debut two months before preview performances are expected to resume on December 1. The play tells the story of the beloved figure (Jeanna de Waal) as she finds herself thrust into the global spotlight after her engagement to Prince Charles (Roe Hartrampf) and struggles to navigate her way within the rigid structure of the royal family. Trapped in a loveless marriage, Diana fights to find her voice. Erin Davie plays Camilla Parker Bowles and Judy Kaye plays Queen Elizabeth.

October 1 – The two-hour ABC special The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World will debut at 8 PM

Special Synopsis: Whoopi Goldberg hosts a historical journey spanning half a century and beyond at Walt Disney World, featuring spectacular visuals, musical performances from Christina Aguilera and Halle Bailey, and interviews with iconic actors and athletes.

October 1 – The season premieres of S.W.A.T., Magnum P.I. and Blue Bloods will air on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

October 1 – The Disney movie Under Wraps, a remake of the 1997 film of the same name, will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The re-imagined story takes place a few days before Halloween when 12-year-old friends Gilbert (Christian J. Simon), Marshall and Amy (Malachi Barton and Sophia Hammons) accidentally revive a mummy (Phil Wright) they discover in a neighbor’s basement, which they affectionately name Harold. However, they must rush to return him to his resting place before midnight on Halloween. Along the way, the team narrowly escapes a nefarious group of criminals intent on selling the mummy to the highest bidder. When Harold is inevitably captured, Marshall, Gilbert and Amy must band together to stand up to the criminals, face their fears and rescue their new—but rather “ancient”—friend.”

October 1 – The season finale of Dynasty will air on The CW at 9 PM

October 2 – The Hallmark Channel movie Love Strikes Twice will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Workaholic lawyer Maggie (Katie Findlay) is having marriage issues. She wishes for a do-over and awakens 15 years in the past. Will Maggie choose college boyfriend Rick (Marshall Williams) or will she stay with husband Josh (Wyatt Nash)?

October 2 – The 4th season premiere of Frankie Drake Mysteries will air on Ovation at 7 PM

October 3 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie One Summer will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Jack (Sam Page) was very sick and close to death, but his wife Lizzie (Amanda Schull) is the one who unexpectedly passed away. After a surprising recovery, Jack returns to her beachside hometown with 15-year-old daughter Mikki and 10-year-old son Tyler to spend the summer in the childhood home Lizzie fondly called “The Palace,” hoping they all can heal. Sarah Drew also stars.

October 3 – The fall finale of The Walking Dead will air online on AMC+ today

October 3 – The new Starz drama BMF will move to its regular time slot of 8 PM

October 3 – The 10th season premiere of Call the Midwife will air on PBS at 8 PM followed by the 6th season premiere of Grantchester will air on PBS at 9 PM

October 3 – Animal Kingdom will air its season finale on TNT at 9 PM

October 3 – The season finale of Billions will air on Showtime at 9 PM

October 3 – The Walking Dead: World Beyond will air its 2nd season premiere at 10 PM on AMC

October 6 – The reboot of CSI: Vegas will debut on CBS at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: The series will take place as new threats form in Las Vegas that could bring down the whole CSI crime lab. It will be up to Gil Grissom (William Petersen), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) and the new members of the CSI team – Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mel Rodriguez and Mandeep Dhillon – to take their new enemies down.

October 6 – The season finale of What If…? will debut online on Disney+ today

October 6 – Turner & Hooch will air its season finale online on Disney+ today

October 6 – The season finales of Riverdale and In the Dark will air on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively

October 7 – The new thriller One of Us Is Lying will debut on Peacock online today

Show Synopsis: The series, based on the best-selling novel by Karen M. McManus, the story of what happens when five high schoolers walk into detention and only four make it out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.

October 7 – The series finale of The Outpost will air on The CW at 9 PM

October 7 – The season premiere of Bull will air on CBS at 10 PM

October 8 – The remaining 8 episodes of the “first” season of Leverage: Redemption will air online on IMDbTV

October 8 – The third season premiere of Nancy Drew will air at 9 PM on The CW

October 9 – The Hallmark Channel movie South Beach Love will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie focuses on rival quinceañeras, glorious Cuban cooking, friendship, family ties—and romance. The cast includes Taylor Cole and William Levy.

October 10 – The season finale of Evil will air online on Paramount+ today

October 10 – The 7th season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead will air online on AMC+ today

October 10 – The UPtv movie Love at Sky Gardens will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Deirdre’s life is split between her day job as a barista and her passion for designing rooftop gardens. When Deirdre accidentally spills coffee on regular customer and event planner, Marcus, before a big meeting with his boss, it sets the wrong tone for him to discuss a job promotion. Deirdre offers to help Marcus get back on track by lending her rooftop garden design services for his boss’ next big event – a wedding! His boss agrees to Deirdre’s help but also wants Jacob, Marcus’ competition for the promotion, to co-plan the wedding. As they work around the clock together, Marcus and Deirdre notice something more about each other and love takes root. But a series of misunderstandings threaten to wilt their growing love. It will take a small miracle to bring them back together where love blossoms – Sky Gardens. The film stars Andrew Bushell, Hope Taylor, Jenny Raven and Joey Belfiore.

October 10 – The season premiere of The Equalizer, NCIS: Los Angeles and SEAL Team will air on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

[NOTE: SEAL Team is expected to air its first 4 episodes on CBS and then it will move to Paramount+.]

October 10 – The season finale of Heels will air on Starz at 8:57 PM

October 10 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie The Vows We Keep will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An event planner must organize the perfect wedding for her sister in less than a month when she finds out the Rosewood, a historic inn and beloved wedding venue, is being sold. The film stars Fiona Gubelmann and Antonio Cayonne.

October 10 – The season finale of Scenes From A Marriage will air on HBO at 9 PM

October 10 – The fall finale of The Walking Dead will air at 9 PM on AMC

October 11 – The 2nd season premiere of The Baby-Sitters Club will air on Netflix online today

October 12 – The 3rd season premiere of The Oval will air at 9 PM on BET

October 13 – The 4th season premiere of The Sinner will air at 10 PM on the USA Network

October 13 – The new Hulu drama Dopesick will debut online today

Show Synopsis: The series focuses on “the epicenter of America’s struggle with Opioid addiction” across the U.S. The cast includes Michael Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard, Kaitlyn Dever, Rosario Dawson, Will Chase, Phillipa Soo, Jake McDorman and Jamie Ray Newman.

October 13- The new Disney+ drama Just Beyond will debut online today

Show Synopsis: The horror comedy anthology, which will consist of 8 episodes and will feature different cast members each episode, journeys into supernatural self-discovery through the worlds of witches, aliens, ghosts, and alternate dimensions. Some of the cast members include Mckenna Grace, Henry Thomas, Sally Pressman, Izabela Vidovic and Malcolm Barrett.

October 14 – The second season premiere of Another Life will air on Netflix online today

October 14 – The new dramedy Guilty Party will debut online today on Paramount+

Show Synopsis: A journalist (Kate Beckinsale) with a tarnished reputation focuses on a story about a woman who denies murdering her husband. The cast includes Geoff Stults, Tiya Sircar and Alanna Ubach.

October 14 – The 4th season premiere of Legacies will air on The CW at 9 PM

October 15 – The season finale of See will air online on Apple TV+ today

October 15 – The season premiere of You will air on Netflix online today

October 16 – The Hallmark Channel movie Advice to Love By will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When a love advice author and a dating columnist cross paths, attraction blooms into more. Using strategies from their own playbooks, is it possible they’ve both met their match – each other. The film stars Erinn Westbrook and Brooks Darnell.

October 17 – The UPtv movie Calling for Love will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Successful podcast host Samantha Desouza (Karissa Lee Staples) has a passion for music and an aversion to romance after a recent bad experience. Just when her show is thriving, she is thrown in the deep end by her boss and re-assigned to host Heartwaves, a feel-good love songs show with a segment that reunites lost loves. Despite her initial lack of enthusiasm, her first caller is the charismatic and charming Jake (Tajh Bellow) who has a problem she’s determined to help solve. What they didn’t expect was to fall for each other in the process. Now Sam must decide whether to shy away from love again, or to be a little more spontaneous and follow her heart.

October 17 – The season finale of Chesapeake Shores will air at 8 PM on the Hallmark Channel

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: As Shane and Oliver (Eric Mabius and Kristin Booth) prepare to wed, the team helps an unwell boy reunite with a lost friend. A new employee may deliver the answer for Rita and Norman (Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson) to start a family.

October 17 – The season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead will air on AMC at 9 PM

October 18 – The season finale of Roswell, New Mexico will air on The CW at 8 PM

October 19 – The new ABC drama Queens will debut at 10:01 PM:

Show Synopsis: Brianna, Jill, Valeria and Naomi once appeared as the “Nasty Bitches” in the 1990s. Together, the four of them not only turned the world of hip-hop upside down, but also achieved legendary status through their music. The four women are now in their forties, unworldly and largely estranged. By reuniting the four, there is now a chance to return to old fame and vigor. October 22 – The first Hallmark Channel holiday movie You, Me & The Christmas Trees will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Olivia (Danica McKellar) is Connecticut’s resident expert on evergreens who, just days before the holiday, agrees to help Jack (Benjamin Ayres), a fourth generation Christmas tree farmer in Avon. A mysterious illness has befallen their firs, causing them to die out and threatening his family’s 100-year business. As Olivia tries to get to the root of the problem and extends her stay in town, she and Jack spend more time together and feelings begin to develop. Jason Hervey also stars.

October 23 – The holiday movie Boyfriends of Christmas Past will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Leading up to Christmas, marketing executive, Lauren, is visited by the ghosts of four ex boyfriends. She must learn to open her heart or risk losing her best friend, Nate. The cast includes Catherine Haena Kim, Raymond Ablack and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee.

October 23 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries holiday movie Christmas in My Heart will debut at 10 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Concert violinist Beth (Heather Hemmens) tutors the daughter of reclusive country music star Sean (Luke Macfarlane) to prepare her for the holiday concert. They are joined through the connective power of music. Sheryl Lee Ralph co-stars.

October 24 – The UPtv movie Eat, Drink and Be Married will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Just three days out from their wedding day, Jess and Max are ready to call it quits from the out-of-control planning. They visit Billie, the owner of a wedding donation company, specializing in donating leftover wedding elements to those in need. However Max’s brother Charlie will stop at nothing to keep them together, he enlists the help of Billie to ensure this meant-to-be couple gets hitched once and for all. The movie stars Joselyn Hudon and Sam Muik.

October 24 – The Hallmark Channel holiday movie The Santa Stakeout will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Tanya (Tamera Mowry-Housely) is a police detective who is reluctantly partnered with fellow detective Ryan (Paul Campbell) to solve a recent string of heists taking place during high-profile holiday parties around town. They go undercover as newlyweds Tasha and Rupert, moving into the vacant house next to Mr. Miller, the jovial chair of the community’s Christmas committee and the prime suspect in the case. As Tanya and Ryan partake in the neighborhood’s holiday happenings to keep up appearances and crack the case, they get swept up in Christmas. Before they know it, their cover story as a couple in love starts to become reality. Joe Pantoliano co-stars.

October 25 – The 4th season premiere of All American will air on The CW at 8 PM followed by the new drama 4400 (a reboot of the USA Network series The 4400), which will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Over the last century at least, 4400 people who were overlooked, undervalued, or otherwise marginalized vanished without a trace off the face of the planet. But then, inexplicably, they are all returned in an instant to Detroit, MI, having not aged a day and with no memory of what happened to them. The ensemble cast includes Joseph David-Jones, Ireon Roach, Brittany Adebumola, Cory Jeacoma, TL Thompson, Jaye Ladymore, Derrick A. King, Amarr Wooten and newcomers Khailah Johnson and Autumn Best.

October 27 – The Netflix feature film Hypnotic will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The thriller centers on a young woman seeking self-improvement, who enlists the help of a renowned hypnotist. But after a handful of intense sessions, she soon discovers unexpected and deadly consequences. The cast includes Kate Siegel, Jason O’Mara and Dulé Hill.

October 28 – Walker will return for the start of its 2nd season on The CW at 8 PM

October 28 – The Passionflix movie Seduction & Snacks will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the best-selling novel by Tara Sivec, the story focuses on Claire (Mela Green) is a twenty-something, single mom who grudgingly helps her best friend sell adult toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he’s asleep) toddler a better life. When Carter (Vince Hill-Bedford), the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.

October 28 – The season finale of Kin will air online on AMC+ today

October 29 – The new drama Colin in Black & White will debut online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: The series focuses on the high school years of Colin Kaepernick (Jaden Michael) and the experiences that led him to become an activist. The cast includes Mary-Louise Parker and Nick Offerman. Kaepernick provides his voice as the narrator.

October 29 – Christmas in Harmony is the latest holiday movie to debut on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Harmony is tricked into auditioning for the Holiday Chorus — directed by an ex-boyfriend. By Christmas Eve, they could be harmonizing in the key of love. The cast includes Ashleigh Murray, Luke James, Loretta Devine, Michelle Williams and Basil Wallace.

October 30 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries holiday movie The Christmas Promise will debut at 10 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Nicole learns to deal with grief, with the help of her grandfather and a carpenter she hires to renovate the home that was once meant for her and her fiancé. The film stars Torrey DeVitto, Dylan Bruce, Patrick Duffy and Greyston Holt.

October 30 – The holiday movie Coyote Creek Christmas will debut at 8 PM on the Hallmark Channel

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A “Christmas Around the World” party helps two people (Janel Parrish and Ryan Paevey) find love at home.

October 30 – The GAC Family holiday movie Much Ado About Christmas will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Haley (Susie Abromeit) is beloved in her community of Winterstone for acts of kindness ranging from managing The Hope Chest to directing the children’s choir. Haley is also the daughter of one of Winterstone’s wealthiest residents Leona Lloyd. Despite Haley’s down-to-earth demeanor, she is financially set as Leona’s only heir – information she fails to share with new love interest Claud (Torrance Coombs), an artsy, hopeless romantic. Haley introduces herself to Claud as “Haley Logan,” raised by a single, struggling mom, a small fib that becomes a complication when Claud and his team present an ad pitch to Leona that includes a photo of Claud’s new girlfriend…Haley! Secrets are revealed and relationships ruffled, but Christmas is coming and miracles do happen.

October 31 – The Hallmark Channel movie Christmas Sail will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Liz returns home to take care of her estranged father she is determined to give her daughter a perfect Christmas and reconnects with her best friend. The cast includes Katee Sackhoff, Patrick Sabongui and Terry O’Quinn.

October 31 – The season finale of Chapelwaite will air on EPIX at 9 PM

October 31 – The movie A Picture Perfect Wedding will debut on UPtv at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Wedding photographer Lindsey (Emily Tennant) gets her big opportunity when a New York mogul’s son, Josh (Tyler Johnson), asks her to shoot his sister’s wedding. Sparks fly as Josh and Lindsey prepare for the ceremony, and the pair begin to fall for each other. But as the big day arrives and the project finishes, do they go back to their old, separate lives or will they follow their hearts?

October 31 – The latest season of Doctor Who will premiere on BBC America at 8 PM
