This week on Manifest’s season 2 third episode:

The Stone Family struggles to unlock their mysterious wave of frightening 828 callings, while the person who may be key to solving them is trapped behind bars. Meanwhile, a shocking and disturbing incident leads Grace to suspect a local mom is in danger. Guest starring Susan Pourfar, Erika Chase and Ed Herbstman.

Join us as we use our new ratings system known as SASSY – S(tupid), A(wesome), S(o) S(o) and Y(Your Thoughts):

Stupid:

Roz: Why are the women this week making me want to punch the wall? I need all of them to take a step back and think through more than a few things in their situations.

Olive’s choice to talk about her family is something in the grand scheme of things that won’t end well I think.

Michaela’s choice is equally baffling, but maybe it needs to happen. Maybe the same can be said for Grace’s choice with that women in the yoga studio.

Cay: Definitely Olive getting more involved with the Believers and telling them who she is. I don’t know what their deal really is, but I tend to be suspicious of “pop-up” religions!

Hopefully not Michaela – she really seems ready to give everything up and burn some bridges for Zeke. We need to find out at least a few more crumbs of why! (Other than the obvious that he’s nice to look at!)

Roz: I don’t get anyone’s choice to trust who they trust this week. Was Grace supposed to keep Ben from taking that job? Is anyone truly not being played by anyone else?

Awesome:

Cay: Thank goodness Saanvi finally figured out her psychiatrist was the Major! Although I feel like there was a big plot hole there as to exactly how she figured it out and when exactly she plotted the fake data.

Roz: Yes! Saanvi figured out what’s up and has a trap set to see what the Major is going to do with it.

So-So:

Cay: Do you think that the Major actually did help Saanvi in any way, especially with dealing with her old relationship? She is apparently well-trained in psychology. I’m trying to figure out if her advice for dealing with the relationship was good or bad. It seemed reasonable.

Roz: How many different balls – metaphorically – are the show going to juggle at one time right now? We’ve got Ben’s new colleague who is married to Grace’s yoga partner and then Saanvi and the General. Not to mention what Michael and Zeke are doing. I’m wishing for some smaller scale episodes.

Your Thoughts:

Roz: As I just said, I think we have too many breadcrumbs and maybe not enough bread right now to know what’s important and what’s not. I’m trying to follow everything and I’m failing at how they’ll eventually interconnect.

Cay: What is the deal with Grace’s calling and Ben’s new coworker – are they working for the Major, or do they have some other agenda? While it felt like the plot moved along a bit more today, I still think we need a hint at what really happened on the plane. As annoying as Ben’s students were, I would like answers to their questions!

Completely unrelated to my other comments, just had to note that Ben’s “murder board” is kind of out of control! I’ve never quite understood how those are helpful, but on TV, they always seem to be!

Also…could Grace’s calling – “open her eyes” – relate to Saanvi? Grace wasn’t really around her, but her eyes were definitely opened this episode!

Cay's family thinks her obsession with pop culture is "not normal". Normal is boring!
