The following list provides the dates of the major network dramas that are returning or debuting for the fall season, the summer cable network dramas that are coming to an end, the streaming series that will debut or return to new seasons, the made-for-TV movies, specials and more that will all air during October:

October 1 – The new CBS drama Wisdom of the Crowd will debut at 8 PM

Show Synopsis: Jeremy Piven stars as visionary tech innovator Jeffrey Tanner, who creates a cutting-edge crowdsourcing app to solve his daughter’s murder, and in doing so, revolutionizes crime solving in the process. The original cop who searched for his daughter’s killer, Det. Tommy Cavanaugh (Richard T. Jones) is recruited to work with him. The cast also includes Monica Potter (Parenthood) and Natalia Tena (Game of Thrones and the Harry Potter franchise).

October 1 – The 2-hour third season premiere of Poldark will air on PBS at 9 PM

October 1 – NCIS: Los Angeles will premiere on CBS at 9 PM

October 1 – The new drama Ten Days in the Valley will debut on ABC at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) stars as Jane Sadler, an overworked television producer and single mother in the middle of a separation whose life is turned upside down when her young daughter goes missing in the middle of the night. Just like her controversial police TV show, everything is a mystery, everyone has a secret and no one can be trusted. The cast includes Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost), Erika Christensen (Parenthood), Josh Randall (Ed) and Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Major Crimes) [among others].

October 2 – The third season premiere of Lucifer will air on FOX at 8 PM followed by the debut of the new series The Gifted at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (The Gifted): The series tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Reed and Caitlin Strucker (Stephen Moyer from True Blood) and (Amy Acker from Person of Interest) are typical middle-class parents dealing with the realities of raising a family. However, when their teenage kids, Lauren (Natalie Alyn Lind from Gotham) and Andy (Percy Hynes White from Night at the Museum 3), are involved in an incident at their high school which reveals they are mutants, Reed and Caitlin do all in their power to protect their children. The cast includes Blair Redford (Satisfaction), Coby Bell (Burn Notice), Emma Dumont (Bunheads), Jamie Chung (Once Upon a Time) and Sean Teale (Incorporated).

October 2- The Ovation drama Halcyon will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: Set in 1940, the series shows London life through the prism of war and the impact it has on families, politics, relationships and work across every social strata. The cast includes Steven Mackintosh (Luther), Olivia Williams (Dollhouse), Hermione Corfield (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and Matt Ryan (Constantine).

October 3 – The new ABC drama Kevin (Probably) Saves the World will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: Kevin Finn (Jason Ritter from Parenthood), a cluelessly self-serving person, is on a dangerous path to despair. In a downward spiral, he returns home to stay with his widowed twin sister (JoAnna Garcia Swisher from Once Upon a Time) and niece (Chloe East from Liv and Maddie). On his first night there, an unlikely celestial being named Yvette (Kimberly Hebert Gregory from Vice Principals) appears to him and presents him with a mission: to save the world. The cast also includes Dustin Ybarra (Us & Them and The Goldbergs), India de Beaufort (Jane By Design and Younger) and J. August Richards (Angel and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).

October 3 – The two-night fall premiere of Queen Sugar will air on OWN at 10 PM

NOTE: The show will then move to its regular night on October 4 at 10 PM.

October 5 – The 7th and final season of Scandal will premiere on ABC at 9 PM

October 5 – The second season premiere of Van Helsing will air on Syfy at 9 PM followed by the debut of the new series Ghost Wars at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (Ghost Wars): Set in a remote Alaskan town that has been overrun by paranormal forces. Local outcast Roman Mercer (Avan Jogia from Tut and Victorious) must overcome the town’s prejudices and his own personal demons to harness his repressed psychic powers in order to save everyone from the mass haunting threatening to destroy them all. The cast also includes Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), Kandyse McClure (Battlestar Galactica) and singer-actor Meatloaf.

October 6 – The 7th season premiere of Once Upon a Time will air at 8 PM on ABC

October 6 – The new ABC series Marvel’s Inhumans will move to its regular timeslot of 9 PM

October 6 – The new Syfy series Superstition will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: The series centers on the Hastings family, owners of the only funeral home in the mysterious town of La Rochelle, Georgia. The family also acts as the keepers of the town’s dark secrets and history. The show stars Mario Van Peeples [among others].

October 7 – The original Hallmark Channel movie All of My Heart: Inn Love will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Brian and Jenny (Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott reprising their roles from the original made-for-TV movie) are engaged and preparing for the grand opening of their bed and breakfast. But when a big storm hits Bucks County, all their plans end up sopping wet. With funds running low and time running out, Brian agrees to go back to Wall Street to make quick cash, while Jenny scrambles to keep the opening on track.

October 8 – The original telefilm Bobbi Kristina will debut on TV One at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Starring newcomer Joy Rovaris in the title role, the film focuses on the real Bobbi Kristina Brown, a.k.a. “Krissy” – the vibrant, talented and troubled only daughter of pop music royalty Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, who died too young, and whose memory has been overshadowed by the circumstances of her death. Demetria McKinney (House of Payne) will star as Whitney Houston, Hassan Johnson (The Wire) as Bobby Brown and Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day) as Pat Houston.

October 8 – The CBS drama Madam Secretary will premiere at 10 PM

October 8 – The season finale of Chesapeake Shores will air on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

October 8 – The new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Gourmet Detective: Eat, Drink and Be Buried will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Henry and Maggie (Dylan Neal and Brooke Burns) attend the birthday party of a local publisher, where his son and stepson reenact a historical 18th century dual. Someone, however, has loaded the antique pistol with a real musket ball, so when son pulls the trigger, he kills his stepbrother in front of a roomful of witnesses. Henry and Maggie have to figure out who wanted the stepson dead and why. The film also stars Bruce Boxleitner.

October 9 – Supergirl will air its third season premiere on The CW at 8 PM followed by the debut of the new military drama Valor at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (Valor): The boundaries between military discipline and human desire are tested on a U.S. Army base that houses an elite unit of helicopter pilots trained to perform clandestine international and domestic missions. The drama unfolds in the present as well as in flashbacks to a failed mission involving one of the first female pilots in the unit, ultimately uncovering layers of personal and government/military secrets and leading to a season-long plan to rescue a group of MIA soldiers. The cast includes Matt Barr (Sleepy Hollow), Christina Ochoa (Blood Drive) and Charlie Barnett (Secrets and Lies).

October 10 – The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will both air their season premieres at 8 and 9 PM respectively on The CW

October 11 – The Hulu streaming series Chance will debut its second season today

October 11 – The DirecTV series Mr. Mercedes will air its season finale at 8 PM

October 11 – The CW series Riverdale airs it season premiere at 8 PM followed by the new version of Dynasty at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (Dynasty): The remake of the 1980’s classic series follows two of America’s wealthiest families as they feud for control over their fortune and their children. The cast includes Elizabeth Gillies (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll), Grant Show (Melrose Place), Sam Adegoke (Switched at Birth), Nathalie Kelley (The Vampire Diaries) and Alan Dale (Lost).

October 11 – Mr. Robot will air its third season premiere on the USA Network at 10 PM

October 11 – The Shannara Chronicles will air its second season premiere on its new home SpikeTV at 10 PM

October 12 – Supernatural and Arrow return for the start of their 13th and 6th seasons respectively at 8 PM and 9 PM on The CW

October 13 – The new streaming series Mindhunter will air its full first season on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: Two FBI agents (Jonathan Groff from Glee and Holt McCallany from Blue Bloods and Lights Out) set out on a sinister investigative odyssey to discover the brutal answers. The cast also includes Anna Torv (Fringe).

October 13 – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will air its season premiere on The CW at 8 PM followed by the season premiere of Jane the Virgin at 9 PM

October 14- The second season premiere of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency will air at 9 PM on BBC America

October 14 – The Hallmark Channel made-for-TV movie Love Struck Café will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Megan Quinn, an aspiring architect, faces multiple tasks – developing her hometown lake into a commercialized entertainment center, forcing Mrs. Frances Figgins, her childhood mentor, out of her family’s home, and helping out at her family café after her father breaks his leg, all while also dealing with the return of her childhood sweetheart, Joe, who broke her heart. The film stars Sarah Jane Morris (Brothers and Sisters and NCIS) and Andrew Walker (the Hallmark Channel movies The Perfect Catch and A Bride for Christmas).

October 15 – The PBS series Durrells in Corfu will be back for its second season at 8 PM

October 15 – Berlin Station will be back for its second season on EPIX at 9 PM

October 15 – The two-hour third season finale of Fear the Walking Dead will air on AMC at 9 PM

October 15 – The season finale of The Last Ship will air at 9 PM at TNT followed by the season premiere of Good Behavior at 10 PM

October 15 – The new movie Hailey Dean Mystery: Dating is Murder will debut at 9 PM will debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Attorney turned therapist Hailey Dean (Kellie Martin) is pulled into another investigation when a popular new dating app links multiple missing persons cases from around the city. Reuniting with her old team, Hailey discovers the potential dangers of online interaction, and must track down a killer before anyone else gets hurt.

October 21 – The Lifetime movie The Watcher in the Woods will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the 1980’s cult classic film, Anjelica Huston stars as Mrs. Aylwood, the distraught mother whose daughter, Karen, vanished in the English countryside over 20 years ago. When Jan Carstairs (relative newcomer Tallulah Evans) and her family move into the idyllic Aylwood manor for the summer, Mrs. Aylwood is taken aback by Jan’s striking resemblance to Karen. The family is warned against entering the surrounding woods, but Jan and her little sister Ellie (relative newcomer Dixie Egerickx) hear voices coming from the forest. Strange occurrences begin to unnerve the family and Jan begins to suspect that they are linked to Karen’s disappearance. As Jan unravels the dark past hidden by the townspeople, she delves further into the mystery and deeper into danger, but now it might be too late to escape. The movie is executive produced and directed by actress Melissa Joan Hart (Melissa & Joey and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch).

October 21 – The series finale of the AMC drama Halt and Catch Fire will air at 9 PM

October 21 – The made-for-TV Hallmark Channel movie A Harvest Wedding will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Sarah Bloom, an up and coming wedding planner in New York, is hired to plan the most anticipated wedding of the season. However, she learns the bride is from Sarah’s home town of Williamstown, Massachusetts, and wants her wedding on the family farm, which is now being run by the bride’s older brother – who is also Sarah’s first love. The film Jill Wagner (Teen Wolf and the Hallmark Channel movie Autumn Dreams).

October 22 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Darrow & Darrow will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Claire Darrow, a lawyer, fights for what’s right, regardless of whether it makes her a dime. Naomi, Claire’s estranged mother and a lawyer as well, would rather make a profit. They clash on nearly everything, even on the best way to raise Claire’s daughter, Louise. The film stars Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Tom Cavanagh and Wendie Malick.

October 22 – The 8th season premiere of The Walking Dead will air at 9 PM on AMC

October 22 – The Hallmark Channel series Good Witch will air a special two-hour Halloween special called Spellbound at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A long-forgotten prophecy is unearthed in the basement of city hall and – when the things that were predicted to happen actually start to come true – the people of Middleton begin to fear that this might be the year of a horrible curse that could change their lives forever. And as Halloween night approaches, Cassie (series lead Catherine Bell) comes to realize that she and Sam (series lead James Denton) might be the key to ending the curse and saving their town.

October 25 – The season finale of Channel Zero: No-End House will air at 10 PM on Syfy

October 27 – The second season of the streaming series Stranger Things will debut on Netflix today

October 27 – Blindspot will air its season premiere on NBC at 8 PM

October 28 – The Hallmark Channel movie Merry Me at Christmas will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Organizing a Christmas wedding is a true treat for bridal boutique owner Madeline Krug. She loves the challenge of finding the perfect dress for the bride and orchestrating an exquisite event. What Madeline didn’t expect was to be swept off her feet by the bride’s gorgeous brother, movie star Jonny Blaze. The film stars Rachel Skarsten (Lost Girl and Reign) and Trevor Donovan (90210, Texas Rising and the Hallmark Channel movie Love on a Limb).

October 28 – The original Lifetime telefilm Flint will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Flint is the gripping retelling of a crisis that shook a nation and shines a light on the whistleblowers who exposed the biggest environmental scandal of our generation. The cast includes Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), Marin Ireland (Sneaky Pete), Jill Scott (Steel Magnolias), Lyndie Greenwood (Sleepy Hollow) and Queen Latifah

October 29 – The season finale of Ray Donovan will air on Showtime at 9 PM

October 31 – The 6th season of Major Crimes will air on TNT at 9 PM
