HART OF DIXIE: One More Last Chance

By  |

This episode is all about trying to make things work – be it relationships (of varying sorts) or the survival of Bluebell proper.

Gossip:

In order to save the town, Levan has the lieutenant governor come to down, and has the town show off all the historical qualities – of which there are very few. But the town puts on a good face, and looks the part of a town that has reason to not be absorbed into Filmore. Even though there are troubles along the way, the lieutenant governor agrees to save Bluebell as a historic town.

Relationship Drama:

New troubles in the lives of Joel and Zoe are now deciding where to live once they moved out of the bed and breakfast. They can’t decide on any other place – aside from Winifred Wilkes’ home. But she’s not too keen on New Yorkers and doesn’t sound like she wants to rent to them. Cue an elaborate plan with Wade (to help him with his problem of Vivian’s son not liking him) so that everyone can get what they want. Troubles follow – as per usual – and in the end, Joel and Zoe don’t end up with Winifred’s house, but another house in town.

Meanwhile Wade wants to impress Vivian’s son, Harley, so that their relationship can develop. Only Harley, and his salamander Cecil, get in the way. It’s scary when an eight year old tells you he wants you dead. In the end, Wade’s help with Zoe’s plan is no good and Harley will make Wade’s relationship with Vivian rather difficult.

Brick and Shelby seem to be getting along really well, but she looks funny at the lieutenant government, and maybe he’s her baby daddy. Turns out that the lieutenant governor is Shelby’s baby daddy and she’s doing her best now to avoid him. Shelby drops the bomb that she’s carrying the lieutenant governor’s baby and for her declaration she’s being moved to Montgomery so that the lieutenant governor can help raise the baby.

George and Lynly have to put on a good show for the lieutenant governor, even if there is trouble between the two of them over Lynly burning Tansy’s hair. Turns out that Lynly is jealous of what George and Tansy still have, but there’s truth in the fact that each of them was damaged from the start of their relationship.
