This week the casting couch features the following actors, who will appear in some returning fall favorites and one anticipated mid-season series:

Charlie Bewley

Actor Charlie Bewley (The Vampire Diaries) will have a recurring role on Nashville this fall, playing Trey, a confident, charming and self-deprecating businessman and potential love interest for Juliette (series lead Hayden Panettiere). Nashville will be back for its sophomore season on ABC on September 25.

Matthew Atkinson

Actor Matthew Atkinson (Jane By Design) will have a multi-episode arc on Parenthood when the show returns for its fifth season this fall. He will play Zach, the drummer in the band fronted by new arrival Oliver (Tyson Ritter from the band All American Rejects), who bonds with Amber (series regular Mae Whitman) while recording at the Luncheonette. Parenthood returns to NBC on September 26.

Freddie Prinze, Jr.

Actor Freddie Prinze Jr. will be showing up in the new Lifetime drama Witches of East End. He will play Leo Wingate, an entomologist with a chivalrous streak who has a crush on Wendy Beauchamp (actress Madchen Amick). Witches of East End will debut on Lifetime on October 6.

Billy Miller

Actor Billy Miller (The Young and the Restless) will guest star in an episode of Castle this fall, playing Mickey Gerhardt, a hot-headed Wall Street banker who gets caught in a hostage situation. Castle will return to ABC on September 23.

Johnathon Schaech

Actor Johnathon Schaech (That Thing You Do!) will have a recurring role on The CW mid-season series Star-Crossed. He will play Castor, the uncle of Roman (series lead Matt Lanter). Star-Crossed has not been given an official airdate yet by The CW, but it should debut sometime in early 2014.
