WEEK IN REVIEW: Five Moments Worth Another Look

By  |

Here are my top five moments from TV this week.  Do you have a few of your own?  Leave them in the comments below.

How I Met Your Mother – Can we stop with the Robin and Ted stuff. Seriously. As soon as the creators said Robin wasn’t THE Mother I no longer wanted to see the back and forth with them because there is no payoff in it.

Necessary Roughness – Have you guys seen the casting news coming out for this show lately? Not only did they land John Stamos (and who wouldn’t want to land him – or something more appropriate) they have also added Autumn Reeser, David Anders and Ioan Gruffudd in recurring roles.gruffudd_thorne-660x330

Pilot Pick Ups – MEGAN FOLLOWS is going to be on TV! The CW picked up the pilot for Reign. If you don’t know why Megan Follows being on TV is so fantastic I suggest you go to your local library or Amazon and rent, borrow or buy Anne of Green Gables. Then we can talk.

The Office – I haven’t always been a fan of The Office. Like any show that runs more and three seasons there are bound to be seasons I don’t care for. That aside, they are killing it right now. The last few episodes have been almost perfect and this week’s Jim and Pam highlight reel along with the note Jim has been holding onto since like the second season made me sniffle.

Nikita – This is more about the network than the show but it still makes the list. Nikita is a good show, it has a great cast and it is consistently entertaining (as far as I’m concerned). It does not however get great ratings. Nevertheless, as seems to be the trend lately, The CW just renewed it for another shorter wrap up season. I think it is a nice way for the network to recognize the fact that there are a number of loyal fans who have been watching the show since it premiered and they deserve to have closer.Untitled2
